I currently run dual Zt-3s with the MS3 pnp unit so I’m all about the monitoring. If you see my history, two years ago I blew a motor due to the oil pan being crushed and me not knowing better so this time around I’m being overly careful. And paranoid in this case specifically.

Last night being tired I accidentally turned the motor over/on without the spark plug in the cylinder for half a second and freaked out again thinking I blew it up or hurt it. Mainly because of the noise but just another dumb thing to never do again. Everything was fine but scary for that moment lol. Someone please correct me and tell me if I did in fact royally screw up but so far my research just says it’s a “no-no” and that I was dumb but still ok.

Thank you for the kind words and advice. That is absolutely the plan moving forward. Get the fuel system locked and loaded and then also will get all the intercooler stuff done as a precaution to temps even more. I have everything on hand, just need to install now.
I'm running the same set up. It's nice being able to watch both banks.

Chalk it up to a learning experience. You didn't hurt anything with the plug missing. A couple weeks ago I was helping my cousin with his Audi. Not thinking he pressed the start/stop button to turn the power off, but because his foot was on the brake it decided to start. Well, try to at least. The exhaust manifolds were just sitting on the engine and the throttle body wasn't hooked up. It ran about a half second before dying. After everything was hooked up it ran fine.

Took the car around the block for a quick diagnosis of the rear end again and here we are ladies and gentleman. You guys were right and that spot just failed pulling into my driveway no less. 2020 has had my nuts in a vice so far but I’m about to Indy 500 another motor in this MF and also ask the dude I bought it from what’s good. If anything, please use this learning experience from my mistake.

I know back in the 80s they could do an engine swap in like 11 minutes in the cup series before nascar put a stop to it. How fast can an indy team do it?

On a serious note- sorry about the motor dude. I've been burned in this fashion, and when I was 19 no less, so I know the feeling.

I'd be interested to see if the top ring shows signs of butting.
