Which one feels quicker?

Preference for one you enjoy driving more?

don’t know yet, haven’t driven the turbo car much at all and bought it 3 weeks ago. It’s at HPP getting new boost controller and tune up. When I test drove was quiet out of throttle, smooth, has a/c,....just nice. It’s also running a lot less boost/power at the moment.

The Whipple car as is a beast, it’s loud as hell, cammed , no a/c, and overall is pretty violent at WOT. I love it.
If I were to pick one at the moment, it would be the Whipple car, but it’s also making a lot more power. That could change though soon and my preference might too. Plan to keep them both for the long term.

Seriously, less than 3k miles?

Yes, I'm serious, I even prepped this car for sale. I was very lucky to get it. It came in under the radar so to speak, and learned later that a guy that lived less than a quarter mile from me had ordered it but didn't want to wait because it was a color that was coming out later in the year so he bought a solid red one instead.

Can I ask how long ago this was? I lived in Madison and worked in Dodgeville for a few years around 2012. I remember emailing someone selling a Redfire coupe for sale down in your area. I don't recall the mileage, but the FR500's (if I'm squinting enough) definitely ring a bell.

While I'm at it...
Purchased in 2011 or 12 with 60,400 miles in northern IL.
Currently has 82k.

Years ago there use to be a guy that had a balck 03 up by the old mall. Ever run into him? Curious

Mine has under 65k miles. Was pushing 457 on the eaton with a few minor mods and tune from Bama. Currently in the shop getting a 2.65 VMP w/ 2.9 upper pulley, Bassani mid-length headers, painted valve covers, upgrading fuel pumps, 4 billetflow idlers pulleys, GT500 injectors with the tune and tuner from VMP, and then getting it back on the dyno. Hoping for the 620 range but will be disappointed if its anything under 600.

I'm on Instagram if anyone interested in following my build. maximumcarnage_1

04 Mystichrome vert, stock, 502 miles. I don’t drive this one. I had 2 others that were drivers. It’s sitting over top of my 96 Mystic Cobra that has 402 miles on the clock.

That wasn't me, and the rims were or were one off at the time Raceline GT Mags, 18x9 and 18x10. The guys for the wheel manufacture worked with me on those rims because that design was only available in 19"and20" at the time for S197s. when they finally arrived they asked me for some pictures because they were going to SEMA and I thanked them for all they done to fill my request and they said at that time those were the only ones in existence that they had done.

I'm pretty sure I seen that car a few times when I was out road testing customers cars. He lived out on John/Paul rd. just as you were leaving Janesville in a newer home area at the time. As I recall it was lowered and I believe it had FR-500s on it. Ring a bell.
