Not really an issue, but I just realized that my hood is not magnetic. Tried to hang a small magnetic light from it and it wouldn't stick.
The only thing metal is the hood latch and the small area around it. I've had it for 4 years in March never realizing this.

edit: Nevermind just found out the hoods are aluminum. Anyone know when they started to use aluminum for Mustang hoods?

I bought my 14’ in November of last year, car has 41k miles on it. Weekend after I bought it my wipers starting randomly coming on when the car was cold, I pulled the fuse and figured I’d pick up a new switch later as I don’t drive it in the rain. In late January I took it to pick up my son from wrestling practice and the heater blower fan wouldn’t come on.

In the last few days I’ve noticed the cooling fans are running non stop, even when the car is cold. I’m pretty bummed as this is my fifth mustang and I had saved and looked forward to getting back into a newer stang after playing with new edges and foxes for a while.

- Vibrating rear view mirror (not due to the stereo), vibrates while driving.
- Front bumper cover pops loose, after driving the car I have to pop the bumper cover back on, I put my knee against it and pop it back in.
- The plastic part under the motor is almost completely gone. I've had to cut off/remove parts of it due to it dragging or causing vibrations in the floor.
- The hose that connects the wind shield reservoir (behind the passenger side tire) broke free, so I used zip ties to hold that in place.
- Looks like the plastic part for the wheel wells is loose.
- Bad O2 sensors.
- Idle bounces up and down (what's that about?)

NO vibrating mirror

NO problem with bumper cover

NO splash shield problems

NO problems with hoses / no zipties

NO wheel well liners loose

NO bad O2 sensors

NO problems with idle

39K miles, 2014 Premium, Track-Pack, Tech-Pack, Comfort-Pack, Custom Tune

The only problem I've had is that the rear tires tend to wear-out pretty fast ;-)

Wonder when they went to aluminum, I was surprised thought for sure it was metal.

Aluminum is metal, it's just a non-ferrous metal (has no iron/steel). Ford has been using aluminum hoods for a very long time. I don't know when they started, but my 1998 Crown Victoria has an aluminum hood too. So have my past Mustangs.

Metal I meant steel, was just surprised, my 89 has a steel hood but we're going back a few years.

The SN95 hoods you are referring to are considered composite plastic.

The hoods are a PE plastic resin reinforced with 20% glass fibers. Not a typical fiberglass formula.

Some of the SN95s came with a conventional steel hood, but most were composite to my knowledge.

Just recently discovered another issue, the dash goes in between the white and the selected color. I have it set to green, then out of the blue it goes white, then after a bit back to green. The other ambient lights maintain the green but the gauges don't.

Recently found a catch-all solution to these 13-14 woes. I bought a 1988 Mustang GT a couple of months ago. It's my "project" car but I have been driving it occasionally on weekends. Now every time I'm in my 2014, it feels like a Lexus. :D;)

Update on mine, wiper motor was bad and the passenger compartment fuse was blown for the blower motor. Cooling fans do seem to run unnecessarily so I’m going to dig into that next.

I too notice the fan coming on and the engine isn't anywhere near operating temp.
