I've got to say that I'm not a fox body lover at all...missed it by a couple years. But this thread had me all hot and bothered. Awesome build!

Any tips on how to get parts at wholesale pricing?
Build many cars and establish relationships with the same vendors. Send others to those same vendors too. It’s all about legitimate, quality, mutually beneficial relationships.

Also, Current interior situation. Time to shed some pounds as the Holley gets put in. Shaking my head as I recall saying I wanted a more finished car to start with. Yeah....no

So when I got the car I couldn’t help but to notice the feeble effort in painting the engine bay. The frame rails and channels were black because they painted it with the engine in the car. The firewall was the original shade of white, much creamier than the crystal white. I’m trying to get the car street ready by May 1st at the latest so I didn’t exactly have time to shave the bay. I’ll do that next year.for now we decided to at least pull the motor out and spray the parts that didn’t match so the bay was at the very least clean and representable. Turned out quite decent.

Turned out good!
Love following your builds. It definitely points out the little details and touches one wouldn't normally think of when doing a build! Great inspiration for my own Cobra.

I said it before and I'll say it again, I have a big soft spot for white foxes. And this one is doing it for me. Makes me want to go back and build another for myself
Keep up the good work!

I promise you’ll be more than content with the outcome. I have a strong vision with this car

You needed a deadline didn't you? I have to put them on myself or I would never finish a project. Keep it coming, I love the results.

For real. If I was that close I'd have them do my roll cage, no doubt.

Engine bay looks great! Painting the frame rails the same color makes a huge difference.

That would devastate my timeline. I simply must have a car to drive this season after spending all last year building cars and having none to drive

I can’t even imagine how nice this interior is going to look with how hard I’ve searched for mint original black parts. Thought about doing the cup holder center console but in the end a flawlessly fitting/working original ash tray door always wins :) I’m only a couple odds and ends away now
