You don't close all the schools in america and not have a recession. Spillover is to great for any financial maneuvering to overcome. BTW, Trump was right about our interest rates when he first complained, and he is right now. Fed should be at zero.
Yea, but Mnunchin is in the government...he would say no recession if it wasn't true. LOL

The Federal Reserve just did 500B in repo. They would not do that if the economy wasn't doing terribly.

Dow futures look brutal for tomorrow morning. IMO it's not whether we will go into a recession, it's whether it'll be a recession or a depression.

I hope you're right. But, CA just recommended all bars/pubs/wineries close. People are not going to go out and spend money for months at a minimum. We're months away from the peak infection numbers. Millions of people are for sure going to lose their jobs. I don't see how it can be anything but a bad recession, at a minimum.

No bars/restaurants open for business unless it's take out only. Schools are closed until April 7th or the 17th, I forget which.
No church celebrations until further notice. I think gyms are closed as well.
Yeah no gatherings more than 25 people.

I saw that last night, and my mind burned rubber running to my wifes work/bank to refinance this morning

Between that and student loan interest/payment suspension, I'm going to be economically stimulated.
