That’s more like it. That car is amazing.
That C8 running that broke its axle, isnt running any better than a new 5.0 GT. And I know the Mustang is more durable. Not impressed with the new C8 and Im not talking about just the performance either. I dont think the looks of this car will age well. Down the road its gonna be looked at as having the looks of a Fiero. Now the vid where the C8 is racing the new GT500, it seems to be running to its potential. Remember the Z51 cars had the best track numbers. I think thats a base model in that vid. Dollar for dollar though, it seems the Shelby is a much better buy with a lot more room to mod.

Thought this was common knowledge by now, but that C8 that broke was being sprayed at the time as well. Besides wheel hop has been a killer for corvettes for a long time. Way worse though with the C6. Usually the rearend housing would sheer off the trans case and almost always take both the rearend and trans with it. A broken axle on a car that was being sprayed is not a big deal.
