Does not sound like a bad price when you figure in the mounting, balancing and tax. I would use a black sharpie and mark the tire at the valve stems. This is to see if the tires are slipping, on the rims, when you launch hard.

Pretty sure you are confused here. Why would you have 4 drag radials on your car?

OP: depending on size, this may not be too bad. You will rarely get a discount on Mickey thompsons. So look on American muscle/LMR and if the price is cheaper, you are probably getting the best price you will ever see.

I just checked retail and looks like you paid more than retail, or they are ripping you off for install.
Usually a place installs for free if you buy tires there.
These retail at $355 a tire from any retailer with no discounts. Thats $710 total. So they are charging you $90 to mount and balance 2 tires?

There would be tax on the 710 if your buying local vs shipping it in. Tax near me is 9% so 64 in tax and 15 each to mount and balance so its close.

Its cheaper normally to get them from Jegs or Summit and just have someone mount them since you save on tax. Right now Summit is running a $$ off using the code at the top of their website, should save you another 30 off the pair.

Yes you are correct, not SS but M/T drag slicks is what I just got. Also by fronts I meant front runners as in skinnies.

Got them from either Summit or Jegs, cant remember exactly & yes, ordered myself & later on took to local tire shop & it was $80 for mount & balance. Also do have some M/T SS but been a while since I ordered so cant recall the exact price.
