You upstate New Yorker could just use this crop of coronavirus freaks as fill ....lol .
Drive looks really nice .
Do you have to seal that in any way ?
I have done a number of poured concrete drives , with the look of pavers , done by stamping and staining , which gets a sealer .
I will seal it in about a month just to help with cleaning. It'll darken it up just a little though when sealed.

Looks much nicer Brad! I would have personally opted for Stamped Concrete with a proper subgrade, but it turned out great! I like the color and design.

Thanks Justin.

Stamped costs more Kevin, and it still cracks here. Good luck trying to find someone to do it also.

Up here its the other way around. Pavers are generally more expensive than stamped concrete.
Watch how heavy you apply your sealer. Ive had some guys have to acid etch pavers and stamped concrete before because homeowners over applied the sealer. Then had to pay a premium to fix what they messed up and apply it correctly. It doesnt look like the style of paver u installed would be susceptible to puddling.
I have a Dr. customer who lets their housekeeper apply the sealer every year and they apply it way to heavy causing it to puddle and when the excess sealer dries it creates cracking/flaking issues. They think it looks great though, so what do I know! Lol

Honestly, if I had the option to do one or the other and it was done properly, I would do pavers as well. My driveway will never be either as to its length and size. It will be dug up and geotextile installed with washed limestone compacted for finish material. Not much else i can do in front of the detached garage because a rear load garbage truck empties my dumpster every week and dont feel like dealing with the mess those guys trucks make.

By request. Finally cleaned the garage. The battery is cooked and had to use the jump box to take it out and put it back. Car is filthy as hell.

To continue on. Old grass was killed, stripped and the old curbing removed. The new sod was put down today. Curbing tomorrow, rock in the beds and the rest of the sod put in and rolled. Got to water it at least once a day for a month. I know, looks like crap, but it does fill in and will look good in 30-45 days.

That will look awesome in may! I love the look of the driveway, pavers are not done up here in MT. If they are done it’s few and far between as I can remember seeing any. It looks great, the car looks beautiful on it!

Very unique and good looking driveway. You're probably feeling good about this latter stage, knowing that in short time you're going to probably have the best looking lot in the neighborhood. LOL. You've nicely increased the value of your home, too.

Thanks Bob, going to take about 30 days till the grass fills in and looks normal. Then I can cut it. Curbing is in too, I'll grab a picture a little later.
