How are property taxes in Canada and the UK? Its a topic I've never seen discussed.
That variability state to state here makes all the difference in the world to net gain.

I am guilty of starting this thread and what surprises me is the variety of responses. I have always liked Harry because he was the party guy in the military and always seemed to have a great time....Then I saw the video with Harry approaching the Disney exec....trying to lobby a voice over part for his wife..Seemed kinda p-whipped to me..

Property taxes for our home our are probably $8,000- $10,000 per year. (7,300sqft house). They have not been assessed yet since we just built, we live in the country however with no water or sewer service. It’s ridiculous. Income tax 54%, tax on fuel, tax on food, tax on alcohol, tax on cigarettes, 13% sales tax on everything. So not only do they rape you when you make it, they tax you heavy when you spend it. Let’s not even talk about Taxing what you leave behind when you die.
But free health care right. wait lines at the Hospital emergency room or between 4-10 hours. If you need a specialist figure on 3 to 4 month wait time if not longer.
Typical families grocery bill up here is $200 each week. Gasoline is $4.50 per gallon for regular.
My cousin in Texas just bought a 2019 raptor, $66,000 with tax.... up here..$110,000 + 13% tax!!
Clearly this is why you need cost controls... That will fix everything.

As an American, I couldn't give a rats ass. But, if he is getting himself away from the shit sandwich that is Royal life then I can respect that. His mother was killed because of the spectacle that is royal life. If it's because of his family, then I can respect him for that.

He's a breath of fresh air in a vacuum of hypocrisy, conspiracy, drama, and poor taste. The royal family has had it's share of problems, and yet it continues to never learn from them. Diana's death is arguably what dissolved their appeal as so many people saw the threat she posed to the Queen, and inevitably attached her death to the family.
I think he's doing what's best for his family, and what he needs to do to remove himself from a crumbling throne made of glass.
