Incredible that a minimally modded 4 door sedan, weighting in almost 1,500lbs more than a modded exotic super car, can be right there next to it at the drag strip.

Dodge is definitely the KING of muscle.

Ur dreaming buddy.....:p Next year we will get pounded with snow. Were never that lucky here in NE to have two mild winters in a row lol. Im liking that idea of the Hellcat tho. Bolt ons and E85 and ur making 900+ whp! Geeez......

Bro,...........if we have very little snow like this winter from now on, I would trade in the truck and order myself a Hellcat Charger as my daily driver.
Probably a GoMango Orange with the black carbon stripes.

Yea a 1000 hp use to be the end game for anyone with a street car. If ur shit was making a 1000 hp u were untouchable basically. Now a 1000 hp seems to be the starting point if u have a really fast car smh.

Basically to compete in a roll race in either Texas, NY, Georgia or anywhere else where there is a big car scene u need to be making 1200 whp or better and when u bring in the TT Vipers and GTR's u gonna need 1400-1600 whp to even compete.

Really is a game of money. The guy with the most money usually wins a roll race since there is very less skill involved imo. There is more skill than most realize but still nothing compared to racing from a dig.

It’s a bitter sweet, unfortunately. It is awesome what the car companies are doing. The power available nowadays. The bad part is that now you see a lot of cuckbois that have no business in the scene, buying their way into it. Less and less true car guys.

I remember watching Street Outlaws a few years back and Chief was complaining about how there are dudes coming onto the race scene that have basically never raced before and now competing cause they have the money to buy fast cars.

I mean shit if one can get their reaction time down and be able to pedal it down the track then all u need is a fast ass car. Of course both of those dictate how well good of a racer one is. There is no more shifting gears its all done automatically now with air shifters.

And thats at the drag strip or no prep in the street. From a roll on the hi way pretty much anyone can compete in that race.

The bad part is that now you see a lot of cuckbois that have no business in the scene, buying their way into it. Less and less true car guys.

I already showed you the video of the HC Charger on Blizzaks in a foot of unplowed snow. You’d be amazed how capable it is in the winter with good tires.

Was not able to watch the vid but 900 who sounds like a lot. These are usually ~820 with pulley and e85. Exhaust and intakes do not do shit on these.

That would make for a damn fun family mover! If I didn’t like my ram so much I’d swap for a charger.

So much truth to this, the guys with deep pockets are hitting these events with 1500-2k hp some are even getting into the 2500 range. With things like a motec set up to control it and sequential gear boxes they are out there killing it.

I don't doubt that for a second! Buddy has a Sprinter van and its NOT all wheel drive and travels all over new England to ski and has (4) Blizzaks and says there is no need for AWD. Says its a beast in the snow and has never gotten stuck never once he says.

I have them on my Golf R and we have only had (1) snow storm here and I was snow drifting around corners at like 50 mph lol these things are insane for winter traction. Nothing else even comes close.

You sure? I ran into a guy with a 19 Hellcat Charger at the track a few weeks back (e85, pulleys, tune, injectors, etc.) tuned by Curt and he was telling me he put 870+ to the wheels and ran pretty much the exact same traps this Charger was...(140-142 in really good DA's). His ET's were off by a few tenths (on his best run) but his launches needed some work....He was out about a month prior to that bone stock (on radials) trapping 123-125.

Edit - tuners claim 850-930rw on this setup...

If this is the car I think it is (Kill_Kat on Instagram), I believe it has at least a Kong ported snout as well.

Interesting. Mine is at 720 with 10% lower but on pump gas. Tuner did another with same but 2.82 upper and it was at 820 IIRC. I would expect meth set up to do same as e85 but maybe not.

We picked up almost 80 rwhp going from 93 to E85 on our redeye with a 2.75.
Leaning on Meth that hard can be a recipe for disaster. Also, no amount of Meth will allow for all the other great things about E85, including its awesome resistance to detonation.
