Saw it with Pops this evening. We both thoroughly enjoyed it and I highly recommend it for any car person. We both loved the scene at the end with CS starting his car and just rolling the throttle to "gather" himself.

If you liked the movie read the book “go like hell”. It’s nothing short of outstanding.

Sorry to bump a few month old thread but this movie I have to say is one of the best flicks I saw out of 2019! If this movie doesn't win something for movies I'll be truly disappointed. As much as I'm not a fan of Shelby cars aside from the 427 roadster, he really was a legend but ken miles was a genius behind the gt40 as much as Carroll.

To think if they had a wind tunnel back in those days and had more ideas of true downforce, carbon fiber... wow even in the 60's I feel were dated in tech at times which is hard to believe.

I bought the digital version on Amazon a while back. I’ve seen it 3 times I think. Definitely a good movie. I think people forget how badass the Daytona Coupe was as well.

Funny story about what made me finally check this movie out, I just watched the movie for the first time a couple weeks ago.

I was out in the driveway washing the Shelby and this guy walking his dog through the neighborhood stopped and started going absolutely nuts, saying how nice the car was and telling me that I had a piece of history lol. Then he was like, "i just finished watching the Ford v. Ferrari movie man".

I'm not much of a movie person but that was enough to make me go in the house and find it and watch it. Great movie lol.

Phoenix Art Gallery has a hell of a special display going featuring very rare and badass historic cars. A genuine Shelby Daytona coupe and THE 2 time Le Mans winning Gulf-Wyer Ford GT40 in Gulf Oil Livery! It was an experience Ill never forget. Being THAT close to THE most legendary Ford race car. It even eclipses seeing the 1 of 1 1967 Shelby GT500 with GT40 engine at the Shelby factory in Vegas.

Sure it wasnt piloted by Ken Miles, but I get the feeling Ken was there giving a helping hand!
