I'm sure its just the angle but that looks really close to the ceiling.

Yes, very close. Need to have the car lined up properly on the lift to raise it all the way up.

Hey Bud what are the Specs on Your Lift? How high are your ceilings? Thanks

Bendpak HD-9ST. 11' ceiling. Both the Cobra and Fox just clear at max height. Fox is lowered on coilovers and Cobra is stock height.

As you can see there is plenty of room to get a car underneath without being at max lift so you really don't "need" 11' height to stack 2 cars. The reason I need it is I can't open the hood on the car below if the car above is not at max lift.

Quick question for you!
Where did you order your step stud from for the knock sensor?
Thanks
Ken

Knock Sensor-
Replacement RF31120001 | CarParts.com

Stud-
S8X10X46BLK - Step Stud Black [S8X10X46BLK] - $3.99 : Bel-Metric, Metric Hardware, Metric Fasteners, Metric Bolts, Metric Nuts & Time-Sert Thread Repair

Nut-

Someone else found the knock sensors and I went with them for the price point. Mostly wanting to make sure they work. I did switch to a weatherpack connector for where the sensor connects to the wires I ran. I prefer to have things easily serviceable. I figure it's going to come out at some point.

Over the weekend I installed a 26 spline input shaft & Mcleod RXT after snapping my 10 spline at the track. Second one I've broken on the 3-4 shift? Very easy and straight forward install. The Mcleod feels 1000x better then the Centerforce that was in there before as far as pedal stiffness. It has takin some time getting use to the soft pedal again lol. Used the old bread trick to get the pilot bearing out.

Ordered more parts. I couldn't live where I'd have to store the car for the winter. I'd go broke. It's only been down about 5-6 weeks and I keep ordering parts since it's just sitting there.

I hear ya! This is partially why I've convinced myself to keep the little 2.2 KB. Keeps me somewhat limited. Although I've been considering going to E85, but I can justify that as peace of mind and not just a few extra hp.

Thankfully the blower swap is already done. I'm ordering all the little things now to get all the extra stuff I've been wanting to run. I had planned on waiting, but at this point I'll have everything set up by summer.

I'm probably not the best person to ask as I'd just be guessing. What are you at now for boost and numbers?

That was a big move (even though necessitated by breakage) going from the 10-spline to 26-spline input shaft. You'll have more peace of mind now the next time you're at the track. Nice clutch change, too!

21lbs I believe and it made north of 540rwhp on mustang dyno last time I had it dynoed. I have Megasquirt3 I need to get installed soon as well.

At 21lbs, E85 would be a very wise decision simply for health of the motor. Do you run any kind of additive like Torco or Boostane? I'm on 19psi and straight 93oct which seemed to be the ceiling for reliability/safety according to my tuner so splash a little Torco in her when I know there may be some shenanigans happening. lol

I do lol...but I rarely beat on her...not until I got the fueling etc up to date...waiting for spot to open up now to drop her off to my tuner.

For sure I'm excited to get back to the track. Been chasing 10's last 3 outings. This last visit I waited 3 hours to make a pass due to people oiling down track and the fact that it was PACKED only to break the first pass. That pass was 2 tenths quicker, and 2 mph quicker to the 8th mile than my 11.01 pass

5 year old and I tackled swapping out the 16 year old shocks that had 32k on them with Bilstein HD’s. Kid learned a lot and was a ball buster the entire time just like his old man.

Part that sucks is that we can’t take her for a ride to verify the changes. Few more months and we can check the difference in ride quality.

Just replaced the leaking heater core return tube with an MMR nipple and hose. Last couple brass fittings should be in tomorrow to finish up the Vibrant vacuum manifold setup (replaced a nest of tees and splitters). Hoping to make it to a local car show this weekend. Needs a goood detail first.
