I'm switching to Brembos off a Boss and was going to put new pads and rotors. My car is a street car with a tvs making 650whp. I was looking at Power Stop drilled and slotted rotors. Not sure on pads though. Would like to minimize dust with the pad choice.

im running their Z23 pad and rotor kit in my Brembo swap setup and have no complaints about stopping power or dusting.

I would recommend stoptech slotted rotors. Have them on my car and work great with hawk hps 5.0 pads. My only complaint is they don’t bite as good as stock when cold but when warmed up they bite well. Stay away from drilled rotors. They are weaker than blank or slotted rotors.

i have the StopTech slotted rotors with the Z26 PowerStop pads. Awesome combo with excellent bite.

The PowerStop Rotors are not as robust as the StopTech or Centric rotors. The StopTech Rotors are essentially sloted Centric Premium rotors.

I got the slotted for the looks. I have just a tad of dust because the slots tends to wear the pads more than a plain rotor. The dust from the PowerStops comes off very easily.

If your on a budget go with stop tech and some hawk 5.0 pads. If you can swing it. Go with DBA rotors and hawk 5.0 pads

Also just a FYI when installing new pads and rotors make sure to clean the rotors with brake clean. New rotors are usually coated in some kind of oil to prevent rust. And follow the bed in procedure with the hawk pads. It will maximize the stopping power.

Anyone use Duralast gold ceramic pads? What's a good, general rule of thumb bedding procedure?

I went with a slotted stop tech rotor and the Hawk 5.0 pads as well, but am looking at other pad options for HPDE events or a track day.

There great for low dust and everyday driving. But i can not say how well they perform om Mexico runs or light track duty.

Bed them in like any other.
