Well, Wife likes the Avalanche Gray GT350 w/ Black Stripes but I'm luke warm on it, have to see one in person but I think I like what I have now over it.

Don’t see many in this color combo. For me that would be a plus. I have seen Avalanche Gray and it is sharp.

Wow, 69' Fastback in GB. Have never seen one in person and had to be a rare car. Still wish you had it?
Rims are VossenVFS6 20x10.5 Rear, +45 Offset. Running Eibach Sportline Springs, BMR Adjustable PH Bar and LCA. Exhaust Tips are Corsa Sports mufflers.

Ideally would like to drive a GT350 1st to see how I like/love it but none in my area for sale at the moment.

Thanks for the compliments everyone, these are beautiful cars no doubt.!
Yeah, I got the ‘69 for high school graduation. It was a Mach 1 clone in Grabber Blue with a 351C/FMX and manual everything. I got a full ride scholarship to college so in exchange for selling my brother the ‘86 GT, my grandparents gave me the money they saved for college to purchase the car. My dad found it for $6500 in WV and after doing a lot of elbow grease and some Ford Motorsport dress up, I sold it for $9500 a month later and bought the ‘91 LX I still have. Great story. The 1969 Fastback has always been my favorite, but after driving a 5.0 5-speed as a high school senior, the ‘69 clone I bought was beautiful, but a HUGE step back in performance. I’ll build a Pro Touring ‘69 Boss 429 tribute event.

Back to the GT350, the Avalanche Grey color was never on regular Mustang, only GT350, so its a great choice for a 350. Unless you plan to boost it, to me your 500 will be the better car. If you do plan to add boost, the 350 will do everything better.

Your glass roof GB Trinity car will always be VERY special!

Tough choice!

Awesome story but more impressive is getting a full free ride for College! I sold my 86 GT 5.0 for a new 92 LX 5.0 and thought it was the bomb!

Crazy how far technology has come from 225hp V8s to over 700 now!

I haven't seen or read what 350 owners are doing for Boost, what blower types? Are TVS's like on the Trinity's a good choice for putting on the 350s?

Yes, driving that ‘torque monster’ was my first V8 and I’m glad to say my brother still has the ‘86 GT.

As far as the GT350 and boost, it seems the Whipple is the easy answer and works really well, even on pump 93. I’d talk to VMP though, as their Odin Gen 3 Coyote blower should work to mate the TVS2650 with the Voodoo 5.2.
Personally, I’d do the Hellion TT kit as the idea of the 8250rpm flat plane Voodoo and belt free TT boost sounds pretty amazing.
For a street car to enjoy, meaning not strip or even road course; I’d have to highly consider a TT boosted GT350.

Man, tough decision still.

Going to sleep on it tonight and have to let the Dealership know tomorrow if I'm buying it.

No I haven't and I haven't even sat in a 350 yet or ridden in one. This will be a blind jump!
I picked up a 350 a little before Christmas. Put 15 miles on it driving it to storage. Liked what I experienced of the car, but definitely down on power compared to the 500 with 700 plus tq at the wheels. Cant wait for snow to go away so I can see if I want to keep the car. I'd be curious what you think of it if you do take a leap.

Looks good, how’d it run?
Whipple looks mean and big, not a 2.9 I’m assuming.

Lost the clutch in test and tune, only got to make a handful of hits. Getting ready to drop the cradle and throw a RXT1200 and a bunch of other parts at it. It's just a baby 2.9, going to work with it for now until I can justify going to a 3.0

Yes. I am only going to make it to SP once in 2020. Do you go to VIR with TD?

Little bit of a hike for me, I'd like to make it down there sometime but probably won't be this year. I'll be running Shenandoah on 5/23
