yea we shortened the entire harness to fit correctly. I would delete the passenger airbag and put the ecu there. Easy access etc

if you’re looking for something specific shoot me a pm with your number and I’ll snag some this weekend and send via text

That is actually my plan at the moment, and going through the factory grommet like yours does.

I appreciate the offer, thanks man!

So I took a big step.. Getting a 8.5 cert cage installed. Drop off is Feb 29th pick up the 14th of March. 8.5 cage with 25.5 subframes, chute installed, painted etc. Heater core is getting removed too. Really excited. The plan is run in the local factory street class. Mainly big whipple S550's, Hellcats, Demons, etc. Going to hit a tnt when it's done to get some baseline suspension stuff on this power level and to see what I can do off the foot brake as I can't use a trans brake. Then throw a 2.90" upper on it and see what it does. Should be 23-24psi

Been a while since I updated.. 8.5 Cert cage is just about done, I pick the car up on Friday :).. So I did the 8.5 Chromoly cage with 25.5 tie ins. Window net, parachute, and limiters. Going to be painted satin black.

Looks good.
When I caged my LX I used Lizard Skin ceramic on the floors and firewalls, mini tubs. Made a great difference and I’d highly recommend if you can swing it.
Good luck.

Car is done, I picked it up yesterday and certified it yesterday as well. I'll look that up though as I'm curious what that is.

I'll get more pictures next week after I clean it all up

Good deal, it’s nice to have a big project like this done.
I painted the cage with VHT Roll Cage black and touched up the Lizard Skin with 3M spray in bed liner stuff.
I wanted the wear areas done with things easy to find to touch up.
You’ll feel much safer in the car with the 8.50 cert cage, even tho I think we will both be pushing past that :)

I'm going to buy some CF protectors for the door bars. I have a more done to my cage than the standard 8.5.. Subframes are 25.5, have the half funny cage.. I have gussets everywhere and stuff too. It'll likely be upgraded to a 25.5 somepoint in the next 2yrs.. But right now I'll have to add a lot of power to go faster than a 8.5 or 5.3 in the 1/8th

Good deal.
Dave at Team Z set mine up for future upgrades also.
If it’s a keeper car it just makes sense.

I guess I haven't really updated this in a while. I hit the track and hit a new PB of 5.5@124mph. Didn't change anything other than adding the cage and front struts.. So added weight for sure lol. I was out of fuel pump so upgraded to a Weldon 2345 pump. Racing season is about done down here in the South for weather. So I'm going to throw it on jack stands and get to work in a little bit with some stuff on the agenda.

Install the 2.90" Grip-tec upper
Billet wheel upgrade on the YSI
Maybe manual steering and brakes..

Try to hit some 5.3's in the fall. Here are some pictures.
