Imo ford makes overpriced shit the majority doesn’t want. Simple as that. Mustang is nice but its a love it or hate it design, F series is king as far as trucks go but they need to develop a ****ing exciting product line that people want and actually put marketing $ behind it. Being in Michigan, i see less and less fords on the road. Its been heading that way the last few years.

So when are are gonna step in and scoop up the Stock Boys? What’s the go Price?

Ford released this info:

Ford has warned of 1 BILLION of lower profits to be expected in 2020

Anyone who touches this stock at any point in the year is a total dumb****. Full stop.

Im targeting around $3, but it could very well sink to 2008/09 levels and hit $1.

There isn't a lot to like about ford at the moment and in the foreseeable future. Your money is better spent damn near anywhere else in this booming market.

Unless you’re simply a total Ford loyalist, and think with your heart instead of your brain, there is no stock price worthy of investment at this point in time.

Maybe some token shares just so you can sleep better at night, but you are just wasting your money with anything more than that. There are infinitely better investment options out there.

This.

Ford is set to lose 1 billion dollars in a booming ****ing market.

Let that sink in.

It is NOT a booming market now. Car sales and profits are down for all manufacturers.
GM lost 194M last quarter, Chrysler is down 9% in vehicle sales in the USA and has a net profit that is down 19%.
Toyota, Nissan, Hyundai-Kia, Honda are all down in terms of profit and sales as well.

I see a lot of people shitting on Ford for getting out of the passenger car market, but if you exclude Ford-GM-FCA, passenger car sales are down 17% compared to the previous year. It was the right move.

But yes, Ford does need a management change and that wont happen until Bill Ford allows it to happen.

I can't bring myself to buy a Ford. I'm very interested in a GT350 but I am very concerned about the lifetime quality.

My 08 Mustang is literally falling apart with less than 40K miles on it. My '15 SHO is a maintenance problem waiting to happen at above 80K miles, where nearly everything that liquids touch have a high probability of failing.

Ford has completely lost its way.

Yes, both still beat estimates, while Ford did not. GM even had a 40 day strike that cost $2.5B and was still able to beat. They would have crushed it without that.

Since there doesnt appear to be any good news on the horizon, I bet that stock price keeps going lower and lower.

Ill buy at $3 and buy as much as I can. Ford wont go anywhere, but Im thinking for the long term if the stock dips that low. Even if there is bankruptcy and restructuring, ride it out. If stock goes that low to buy, why not? Not saying anyone should invest their life savings, but cheap stock in a durable goods company seems like a decent long term investment.

What?

So ford is losing there way but your complaining Bout a car made in 07/08. Sorry im not buying it. I have a 2008 Gt500 and have 42k on it. Car is in great shape inside and out.

Your 2015 is a supposedly a maintenance waiting to happen. Well if you maintain it regularly you wont have much issues.

If everything was so bad you stated you would have dumped both and jumped on the next band wagon
