I moved my spacers to the front so I could get this thing off jackstands and take it for a spin. The amount the pedal moves before significant braking occurs seems to have increased. It reminds me of going from a manual system to a boosted system. The amount isn't huge (maybe 1/4-1/2" of travel) but it is noticeable if I'm not just being hyper sensitive. Braking performance seems increased and panic braking is still excellent. I was able to find room to do two panic stops from ~60mph and got the initial chirp followed by modulation that I'd expect. All in all, this is a great swap and the extra pedal travel will probably be no big deal once I get accustomed to it. I have the ATS Brembos in the front and the 43mm Taurus calipers in the rear. I think I'm going to need new front wheels though. The poke is a bit too much for me. Click the thumbnail for a larger image.

That's ALOT of poke from the front wheels. I'm surprised when you did the panic stops they didnt hit the fenders

What wheels are you running?
I have the stock 2003 Cobra wheels and probably need to read back through this to see if they fit with the ATS brakes and no spacer!
Thanks
Ken

Your wheels will just barely clear. Beware of the wheels weight locations if they are stick on type weights. I have 17x9 +26 BBS RX wheels.

I had the calipers machined. I used the offset inserts from lowranger. You'll probably need them in order to clear 17s. Installation wan't bad but a little time consuming. You beat the old inserts out, clock and install the new ones, mount the calipers on the car and drill/pin the inserts.

I also have the lowranger offset bushings and the calipers barely clear the stock wheels. I don't see them working with stock wheels with out the offset bushings.

RockAuto has one, the part is by wagner parts number is mc140634. And the description it states that it is 1 and 1/16 bore and the picture looks like it appears to be for hydroboost.

Disregard my previous post. Just realized that master's cylinder is not for hydroboost

I went back a few pages and 1 1/16 appears to be the oem hydroboost mc size. We would need a 1 1/8 to test with.

I also have stock 03 wheels and they fit fine with no spacer.
