It’s still an auto so it’s a lot easier to manage the high hp and still run fast times. 1000whp to run 9.59 isn’t very impressive, it is impressive that now a days cars are making 900+whp with just bolt ons.
They can't manage shit because they have no control over it. And it's not an auto. There's no converter softening the hit. It's still a clutch that needs slipped.

I feel the same way but I also don’t care about all these huge horsepower numbers.

making 1000whp is cool but what it really ends up being is a burnout machine for any speed below 70 mph.
A 1.59 60' on r888's is a burnout machine?

no, but 1.59 is ****ing pathetic for a car with 1000whp. I know the trans still hasn’t been tuned but the comment I made about burnout machines was a general comment towards all the cars nowadays making boatloads of power but can never put it down.

1.59 with a lot of power on 20" R888's isn't too shabby IMO. I agree with the majority of big power street cars being spin machines though.

It's pretty impressive considering they have no control over power at launch and the car is limiting its self.

In what world is a car with 1000whp cutting 1.59 60’ times impressive? My old coyote with 1/3 the power cut better short times. I get that they can’t tune the trans yet, I get it. Once they crack that, it will be better. Sure.

But. 1.59 short times in a car with 1000whp is terrible.

Terrible sure. But they can't really control anything about the launch. So, for a 2 month old car with stock trans tuning, r888's and 20s it's honestly pretty good. We aren't talking a stalled auto with drag suspension and good tires. We are talking a car with a clutch and no ability to control power output at launch. I guarantee that car isn't using 1000hp at launch, or even half that.
