not at my post...
Depends on the model I suppose. Platinum and KR are up past that.

I priced out a Lariat with only a few options for $63k.

Depends, the 4 I sold were loaded and had MSRPs around $78-79k.

poor attempt at humor on my part...I was making a hellcat redeye joke about the member that claimed he bought for 58K OTD.....

Looks fantastic

Have a 10K lb gooseneck trailer that I pull fairly regularly. Really want the 7.3, but am having diesel withdraws over it. Not sure what to do.

This was also my dilemma (10k lb gooseneck horse trailer). It was an easy decision after driving the 7.3 and thinking about the $10k extra for the 6.7 plus the additional maintenance and repair costs for an engine I don’t need.

I’m also expecting a very robust aftermarket for the 7.3 if I want more hp.

Good the hear.

I know it's largely mental, but hearing an engine all revved out doing 75 scares me.

I guess I'll just have to turn the radio way up, and put tape over the tach lol.

A tune alone is looking very promising, ford left a lot of meat on the bone with regard to power potential....as in they tuned it like a pussycat for longevity in superduty truck....5 star tuning has almost picked up 60RWTQ on just a 93 tune and 38RWTQ on 87 tune..all stock parts

Out of the people that are buying these, at least on this forum, What are your/their reasons for picking this truck over other trucks?

I feel like it’s because Ford has finally built something with a proper ohv engine that a lot of people secretly wanted for a long time.

Just poking around Autotrader, it looks like they are being advertised at $3k-$6k off right now with a few around $8k off. I'm not sure if those are discounts everyone can get or if they are all of the available discounts combined that need specific criteria to qualify.

It'll be interesting to see how well it sells. I see maybe 1 gasser for every 20 diesels in f250s in my area. I can't see this new 7.3 having much impact.

Well, I mean, look st what ford has offered until now. The ecoboost and the 5.0 and to a lesser extent, the 6.2. The ecoboost, even though ford hyped it to be great at towing, from what I’ve read, didn’t deliver as expected.

I think the 7.3 will have good sales because it will draw a lot of people that were going to buy an f150 but wanted more power. It could also be a good compromise for people that want to toe heavier loads but don’t need a diesel.

I’d throw money if this was a bet. No DEF, cheaper fuel and more displacement than the other options.

I don’t need a truck, but do want one some day. I like the idea of an F250 over an F-150, but can’t justify that either. I really want a Jeep, but they can’t tow shit.

I priced out a Lariat with the 4.30 gears, 7.3L engine, 4x4, Tremor package and Lariat Ultimate. Came to $63,540. Sent it to my dealer and waiting to hear back on invoice pricing, but I bet it will be cheaper than the 2020 Raptor they invoiced me at.
