First video of the new ARH 3" H-Pipe on my Cobra.

It completely transformed the sound. It's much richer, deeper, and smoother note without as much rasp/bite when you stab the skinny pedal. It sounds better than the video picks up...

Really satisfied with the results.

Full exhaust setup :

Todd Warren Custom Cams
ARH 1-3/4" Long Tubes
ARH 3" H-Pipe
2.5" Magnaflows

My brother just franchised a Lous Custom Exhaust in Derry, NH and I broke my Cobra out of storage to get the work done.

Give his shop a call, he can definitely get some butter smooth lookin Welds. Very impressive for such a short time to learn

Sounds sick! I have almost the same setup but with ARH 1-7/8, their 3" X-pipe, Magnaflow 2.5" and a SRA so slightly different piping. Cammed also, I love this setup had the car back for a week and breaking in a new clutch, cant wait to really rip on it. It's not too loud cruising, but when you get on it GOOD GOD, it's an assault.

I'll have to get some decent videos so we can compare the X vs the H. What mic are you using?
Did you have their X-pipe on before this?

Wish I could hear this in person. Really want to replace my Midpipe and its between an X and H. There just are not that many videos with H pipes. I should just send you one of my good mics and have you record how yours sounds lol

Sounds different than most terminators, probably because of the H-pipe. But I like, it doesn't sound raspy at all.

I ended up pulling both videos at the same time to compare. I do like the tone of the H pipe but wonder how it would have sounded with the magnapacks. Regardless it sounds good

The H changed the tone more than I thought it would have.

I liked the WOT sound of the X, but part throttle mid accelerations just didn't sound that good. Lot of rasp. Especially on start up.

New exhaust will take some getting used to. But for now it's stored back in my garage for another couple of months

I'm thinking about switching to an H pipe. I'm not a fan of the raspy sound of the X pipe anymore either

H pipe is the way to go! I'm not a fan of the rasp and droning you get from x pipes on initial acceleration.
I'm not sure the drone comes from the midpipe...

Catless never helps drone. Them muffler design comes in big

Rasp on the other hand. Yes

try and mount the camera on the trunk or the back window. it's over powering when it's next to the tailpipe like that. you don't get as clean of a sound.

Why go with a 2.5" muffler when it's 3" up to that point?

I belive the sound disturbance heard in the video is how I encoded it with my program.

Trying a different output and will re-upload if it's cleaner

The catback section would still be 2.5" so no gain...

You'd have to replace everything with 3"

There is a school of thought that necking down at the catback is better to keep up exhaust velocity as the gas cool and pressure goes down.

I tried to reupload it in 4K along with Dolby Digital. I believe the sound resonance is gone. Especially noticeable from :40 to 1:10

Sounds nice!!! I'd like to hear how it sounds from inside your car.

When I take it our in the Spring I'll shoot a more indepth video

Reuploaded it. Sounds better to me now

Sounds good, but that is waaaay too loud for my taste.

You would have hated it before. The cams drastically increase the exhaust noise at WOT
