From the Detroit Speed Facebook Page:

“Let's check out what Larry's 1970 Ford Mustang Boss 302 hides underneath the hood.

How do you make a unique pony car even more unique? You call John over at Accufab, Inc. and get your hands on the Hot Rod Magazine Engine Masters winning 406ci 32v 5.4L based monstrosity. This engine pumps out 700+ naturally aspirated horsepower through a rare Cobra R intake manifold. The color theme of the engine bay is your traditional Ford blue block with silver up top. The use of gold cerakote throughout and in the fuel system is to give a nod to the classic colors from Holley products of the era.

The best part about this package, is how quick you can rev this thing to redline.”

The 400” Mod motor was a Kasse engine masters build.
But I’ll take this exact build in Grabber Blue with the ‘69 body! Absolutely my dream car.
Any links to more on this car?

If you have FB go to the Detroit Speed page there are several posts. They also mention that the car is featured in the January 2020 issue of Monthly Mustang Magazine.

I read up in the car and unfortunately they cut up a genuine all original Boss for this. Great build and I love it but stings a little, also if I remember correctly I believe it’s an Accufab engine.

Mihovetz built a 400" modular as well, Kaase was the winner that year with his entry though. There was 3 400" modulars that year entered.

Only sexier pony car profile than this is a '69 with added scoop/headlight.

The satin finish and gold accents in the engine bay are uniquely powerful.
