I'm not big on the Gladiator looks (waiting to see if it grows on me) but the idea of being able to do both Jeep stuff and truck stuff with the same platform is pretty cool. I know two people that traded their Jeeps in on them and love them. I need to get a ride in one and check it out.

I drove Gladiator Rubicon, and my only complaint was dropping from 450 HP to 285 HP. They both have 4.10 gears factory. The Raptor is 10 speed where the Gladiator is 8 speed, so while it has less HP, it also has less gears. I love the way they look. They remind me of a Humvee. I see some rolling around here with the 2" Mopar lift and 37s and they look beastly.

Just wish they would bring the Scrambler back then I would seriously think of getting one.

They definitely look a lot better with a lift and tires.

Quite a few of those running around with that lift/size tires. Changes the truck considerably.

Dunno if it would be enough for me to switch, but I haven't had the same level of crap reliability you have had either.

When I was truck shopping, Ford pissed be off with pushing the ecoboost engines. How can a twin turbo engine be cheaper than a v8? I couldn't find a good deal on a v8 4x4 f150. I gave up and bought a Ram with the v8 4x4 and more options for cheaper than a base xlt with the small 2.7 ecoboost.

This was my exact problem. Went with a Z71 and I really like it. Ford can stuff the ecoboost bs up there ass.

As someone posted above, Ford is making good products as a whole but nothing interests me enough to buy anything new from them and i have had 3 new fords in my life.

A Gladiator Rubicon is likely to be my Raptor replacement in the very near future. Glad to hear y'all like it.

I found out yesterday the 2020 Raptor I ordered on Dec 2nd hasn't even been scheduled for production yet. The 2020 Gladiator I ordered Jan 3rd is due to be here mid Feb.

Just FYI - I ordered the 2020 Raptor at invoice with $0 down, and the Gladiator at 1% below invoice with $0 down. No obligation to buy either.

Sorry to hear about your Raptor troubles. The new gladiators look bad ass I think. I also like the new super duty tremor editions.

I eagerly await the Ram TRX.

I wish they would make a T-Rex emblem for it, same Fox suspension as a Raptor, but with Coil a rear, base 6.4 and Hellcat option would be nothing but pure win.

Weak argument. Average age of used cars/trucks on the road grows every year. I know because I work in the Automotive Aftermarket. That speaks to the fact OE's didn't make anything 2005-10 that was worth a shit, and they're arguably the worst trucks and cars you could ever buy. They've all broken down and been junked less than 15 years later.

Second gear to that is the poor quality and inflated cost of new vehicles today. All brands have issues, but the Big 3 are arguably the worst of the group still. And it's beginning to catch up with them as buyers aren't just letting it go anymore. They're moving to import brands.

Also, I met a very nice fellow with a brand new 2019 GT350R yesterday that wants me to do some work to it. I didn't have the heart to tell him that his bumper cover color does not match the fenders and hood. It was a different shade. 100k with the paint quality of a Kia.

Well you should know then that with any car with plastic bumpers that colors will never match against metal panels. It's a common thing and there is very little you can do aside from painting them at the same time and blending it, but even then the material differences makes the change in color and some colors are worse than others. You go look at any car and you will see it.

I have been Ford Brand Loyal Since 1990. Personally owning 1976 F150, 1989 Thunderbird SC, 1990 Cougar XR7, 1993 F150 Lightning, 1995 Mustang GTS, 1996 Ford Ranger, 2000 Focus Wagon, 2003 Ford Windstar, 2003 Cobra, 2009 Ford Explorer, 2016 Ford Explorer Sport... Still have the 2016 Explorer and 2003 cobra.

This past summer wife was over the wait for the new BRONCO, got a 2020 Jeep Gladiator (She absolutely LOVES it, I think its fine) 2016 Explorer Sport will be exiting.

I am looking for a replacement for the 2003 Cobra. Three cars could pull me out of it...350R, GT500, or C8. after looking all three over very closely, the C8 is pulling ahead. Got right up close to the 500 and C8, other than the amazingly HUGE front brakes on the GT500, I wasn't ecstatic over it. IT looked sweet for sure. When I went and took a close look at the C8...it felt like my first look at my COBRA. Just..DAMN!

I cant put my finger on where FORD is losing me. The choices have somehow lost my interest, especially for the cost. Don't get me wrong, they are making some performance machines for sure, but something is just off.

I can NOT believe I may have a JEEP and a Chevy in my garage this coming summer.

I always pay attention to the half ton trucks too. Ergonomics is all FORD. But, the basic build I preferred was the RAM. I hate to say it but give me a Hemi powered 4x4 with the luxury package and air ride on the coil sprung rear suspension. What an amazing interior as well.

Im pulling for FORD still a FORD guy, at least want to be.
Am I the only one who can’t stand the 8? C6Z looks awesome the base c8 is blah basic boring.
I’d take a hellcat all day before the 8.

Raptors are still specialty vehicles, dealers do not get to purchase unlimited numbers and or choose when their next one is built.
The Jeep on the other hand is a dime a dozen and will be built ASAP.
The Jeep looks great, I love you can get a stick, but it’s $10k to high.
For the same price one can order a 2020 250/350 7.3 Tremor! For $55k that’s a hell of a truck!

Yeah, I know. When I ordered my 2018 Raptor, I had it in 8 weeks from when the order was placed. I was figuring this order would be the same.
