really no big deal. felt normal after about 2 days. couple of us did it as a package discount...had 6 guys lined up, only two of us showed. still got the discount.
Dude, most painful thing I've done. It's worth it in the long run, but when I stood up and walked, it almost killed me. Some people are good in no time, I'm not one of them.

My cut-man spent at least 4-5 minutes on each side waiting to make sure the anesthetic took effect (it did, he was tugging and snipping before I even knew what was happening)
My only advice is mostly the same as mentioned here. Spend the first 24 hours sitting on ice. Shits going to change colors and look hilarious.
but I caution you when others say you’re good after 2-3 days. My experience was different.
I spent 3-4 days still pretty tender. And even after that 4 day window I was really sensitive to... ahem... bouncing off of things (my hand)
About a week in I must’ve tweaked something in the right side because the purple came back and I spent a solid month to 6 weeks in a tender state.
Good luck. We made baby 3 after my procedure was scheduled.

Wife’s been “tugging” at me to get this done for the past few months. She’s read only the positive reviews where patients mention only 2-3 days of discomfort and that I should suck it up.

Doc told me 7 to 10 days. Think we got it on on day 6. I was so scared to bust!!!! Took it easy for 2 weeks. No pain, but a wierd ache for a while. I started jogging at 2 weeks and could go back to running after 30 days. Ran a 2 mile in 15 minutes at 30 days. Did have the weird ache show up again for a day or two at the 2 month mark, but that was after a day swimming at the beach.
