That's where you're wrong. When it becomes realistic, people will want it.

honestly I like the idea of a F150/F250 that will park itself while i can fiddle around getting my stuff together. I always back into my spots and can parallel park if needed, but hate doing so. Electric boost with a diesel would be a gooseneck pulling SOB. and the cameras and such have make trailer pulling so much safer.

Every single manufacturer experiences the same issues with their vehicles. Period.

Ford's fit and finish is lightyears ahead of where they were 10 years ago.

Obviously I'll disagree with you, but hell, I don't make money from sales..just service, so whatever works!

I will agree with you there although at least when something is cheap or dumb on the Marauder I can say "well its a Ford of the era" and brush it off. When I drive around in my 2016 Mustang with a rattling C pillar and a rattling dash board, it drives me up a wall. My 20 year old BMW is still rattle free inside.

On another and more serious note though you did help me with getting the wholesale pricing on my car, the 19 f150 and my friends focus ST so I'll always be very appreciative of that.

I mean, if you go on Mustang6G you'll find plenty of people who had new cars w/ engine replacements due to ticking or excessive oil consumption, lets not forget about the MT82-D4's blowing shift forks for 2018.

I'd also like it if a car I dropped 43 grand on new had a little bit better paint quality as well as fit and finish. I've had some dumb issues with my car but they pail in comparison to what I've seen others go through.

I'm just pretty convinced at this point that most new cars are slapped together and built to last a warranty period. My brother has a 2015 scat pack challenger he bought with 4000 miles on it and he had to have the entire engine harness replaced under warranty due to a phantom O2 sensor code.

I will pop over there. I have an account, but haven’t used it in forever. The minor engine replacements pale in comparison to the GM trans replacements for the 8spd and overall the Coyote and Mustang are proven pretty solid.

Actually they were under Alan Mulally. He actually turned ford around and saved them from bankruptcy. The problem now is the people running it currently. Dropping all cars is a bad long term solution. Working on a new fusion platform would be a smart move.

Dropping cars was absolutely the right move. Sedans are a dying breed in a dying segment and they provide prosperity profits. Consumers want CUVs and the MPG they get is the same or better than comparable sedans.

Worse than that it's like the future is aimless.. they keep pushing for autonomous and electric... no one really wants it.

The investment is mainly for overseas markets like China, where electrification will be really important.

Not surprised after what i been through. passed on probably 10 or so used f150s thinking they were in accidents due to the lower parts of the doors flared out an sagging don't bumpers.

Bought a 2.7 not realizing the oil pan leak is pretty much unfixable in my experience and traded it in with a leaking head gasket and pan.

I just like that Ford has so many different options on their vehicles.

I guess im the odd man out then. Ive bought/leased 5 fusions in the last 9 years . i know others that have done the same. If cars didnt sell Tesla wouldnt have blown out on sales for the 3rd/4th quarter last year.

Got one of the “dealers” right by work. They keep a car in the waiting area plugged in. I like them and would have one of the 100D cars to play with

Im not ready to get on the electric car bandwagon. With PGE rates through the roof from all the fires and bankruptcies claims i dont know how cost effective it will be in the future unless you run solar at your house.

Man Im really not sure, I’ve never actually thought about it. I think electric will never be as mainstream as we make it out to be.
