I’m surprised
I figured with limited production it would hold well.
I sold my 12 Shelby about four years ago and they’re still about same price
Today.
It is a six figure mustang though

You should keep it. Not many people are going to be lucky enough to get a golden ticket car. That’s going to be one bad ass whip!

Does anyone know what the option mix would be for the CFTP? I was "guessing" 20-25% for 2020MY. I'm kinda hoping Ford changes up the options for 2021MY such that you can get some of the track goodies less the wheels for much less than $18K. One can only hope... ;-)

Black loaded up with z51 package
Just put the order in for the convertible too
Don’t want to afford three six figure cars
Trying not to hijack your thread but could answer a few more Qs? Maybe if you don't like/want it... I could be a "suspect".

1LT/2LT/3LT?
Z51 performance suspension with Magnetic Selective Ride Control?
Any aero/wing options?
Competition Sport bucket seats?

Anyone can order a GT500 track pack, but only the dealers with an allocation will get one. Same with the 350R .
Saved me 100K after my dealer couldn't get one. Hallelujah!!

MSRP and below will be the norm after first couple years. Wait it out. My dealer mentioned to me, if sale terms for the golden ticket are the same as 2020, he will get a CFTP for 21 and 22 and he never got a 350R. He also told me he went and seen the Bronco, and said it will come in a manual. That's encouraging.
Remember, good things come to those who wait ;)

Not so sure that "below" will be any part of the norm but if demand decreases then so should the ADM's currently being asked. If this thing is only offered for two or three years you'll likely continue to see silly CFTP markups. And if Ford decides to do a few hundred KR's this is gonna get really stupid.

In CA they are still asking $20k over for the raptor. Haha
who in the right mind would buy one in state. those are way under MSRP here.
I'm sure they will run the 500 at least 4 years. book it, and I'm also certain after the first couple years. MSRP and below will be the norm on base 500s. CFTP, just like the 350R, will take some searching. for the deals.

Your assuming that the S550 will still be around in 2024.

it will run 4 years, 2020-2023, 4 years
High disagree. Ford has a habit of putting a lot into the final 2 year run of said car. 03/04 Cobra, 13/14 GT500, and now I'm guessing 20/21 GT500. I can't see them keeping it as is for 4 years, especially without some sort of big revision, like when they went out with a bang on the 13/14 after 07-10 GT500, then 11-12 changes, and then finally the 13/14.

You have every right to disagree. itll be a wait and see.
Edit:, and for the record I ment S550 GT500, so yeah, they could change things up for the last 2 years. Essentially, I'm thinking same engine maybe a KR version comes with a little more power or maybe not.

Yep, ditto here. 03/04 SVT; SVT Focus; 13/14 GT500; 2019+ GT350. I am crossing my fingers in that maybe they tweak the options a little bit: all track stuff (less expensive wheels, improvements in suspension) in a an option, maybe even a 6/7 speed manual (although I won't be a holdout for one).
