Out of curiosity what are your build plans, super charger, power expectations, etc?

Only have a VMP gen2 now, waiting on the new Whipple 3.8 to come out. Looking for 900ish at the tire with pump gas. E85 for track only, but not going to track much

There are plenty of guys running a lot more motor that you with 1300s or even 1050s. Save yourself some money and get 1300s, they are more than enough for your goals.

Nope. Your issue will be pump, not 1300s. I ran out of fuel with a pair of 465s and 1300s. It wasn't the injectors. This was at 1050 rwhp with my 2007 and a Whipple 2.9

I have a return style with triple pumps going in also

The 3.8 should be capable of maxing out ID1300s. I would stick with the ID1700s.

Can you guys run the Bosch 210s? They are what ID uses for the ID2200 and you can get them new for about $500. Use the ID2200 injector data and you are golden.

Id 1700s will be great on E85. The issue you will have is low rpm/too low pulsewidth and driveability on gas.

With that goal you definitely don’t need ID1700s at 900rwhp. 1200rwhp on E85 will max 1300s. Pump gas and non-E race gas don’t need the big injectors.
If you already have them, I’d like to trade a set of 1300s for 1050s or 1700s. One project wants more, one way less :)

Are they flow matched?

Depends where you buy from. For the massive price difference you can buy $10 or $12 for $600 and flow test them at $7 an injector and you still come out $1200 less than the same rebranded injectors. Huge group of guys running these on near stock gas pump cars all the way up to wild builds.

i agree with the majority and can confirm that my own triple pump 465 setup and ID1300's were maxed out at the 1200 mark. so for your application with the 3.8, the 1700's are overkill, especially since you want to run pump gas, the idle and low throttle input will suffer with the 1700's. 1300's will be a much better match for your setup.
