Got the 2v out and was getting ready to sit the 4v in until I found I had a bad oil pan gasket. So, that will be on the list of things to get. Going to be modifying the stock f150 harness after finding the navigator harness to be pretty cut up. So, sooner than later you'll be seeing a 4v swapped f150 in the works.

Not going to lie, I'm very surprised on how well it dropped into the chasiss. The again externally the long blocks share a similar dimension to their 2v counterparts, the added size falls into the valley and intake manifold. Hopefully all my wiring is right and it pops off and runs on the first crank. Hoping by sunday afternoon its moving under it's own power. Wiring will be left unwrapped for now should I have issues, its easier to test and go back than finish and undo...

Base tune in from the tuner. Havent really been able to gauge fuel economy due to weather, but honestly, I dont care. Getting a proper spark curve for the 4v really woke it up. Hopefully before the end of the week into next its tuned and good to go!

We need more pics. Makes me want to go find a Lincoln Blackwood.
I haven't had time to clean it up properly for photos. Between snow storms and helping buddies move, it's been hectic. There will definitely be more photos once it warms up. I'd like to do a little body work to the truck too. Rockers are starting to rust, and the driver bedside needs some rust repair and damage repaired.

Honestly, if a guy is skilled enough to run a wrench and a cherry picker, the swap is stupid simple. The navigator harness in theory swaps right over to the f150. You wont be utilizing the Intake manifold tuning valve, (I gutted mine, or a crossover from an 03/04 navi could be used,) and will have another temp sensor in the pinout, otherwise it looked to be direct when I was laying the diagrams side by side.

So how did you do the harness?

Original modified?
4v modified?
Or
Other.

Please mention exactly what you had to do with the harness you chose to use as well.

I may have missed it.....

I used the f150 harness. I extended the COP harness, swapped injector pigtails, and re-located the CHT sensor. (F150 doesn't use an ECT.) I may change the location up to the thermostat housing, as I'm not exactly happy with what I'm seeing.

The only reason I chose to use the f150 harness was due to the navigator harness being damaged more than I cared to repair. It had missing pigtails, water damage, broken wires, and other things I could ramble on about. It was also nice knowing that the harness that ran the engine prior with no issues, should in theory run the new engine with some wiring extension.
