You interested in selling them @jwcobra03 ?

Racebronco that's really awesome. Who created your hood? I tried Googling a picture of your hood, if you got a pic of it I'd love to see it

True forged was making them but I don’t believe many made it to customers from the second group buy.

My vents are still in the box too. I want to repaint the car in the near future so I'll install them then.

Nice to see another cobra being tracked. I ended up buying my vents over the 20% off black friday sale last year. I haven't had time to install them but I plan on doing them before the summer.

If you ever track again hit me up. Would be nice to get two cobras on track together.

Sounds like a plan, at the moment my car is apart. I've been fighting a passenger side header gasket issue. going to ditch my JBA shorties and go to long tubes. I'm tired of dropping the K member to fix it. The next track event I'll be doing is the Mid America Ford and Shelby Nationals event at Hallett.

Do you have a mod list, mainly suspension you could list? I'm interested in tracking my cobra and was curious what was working for people.

Just open up the maximum motorsport catalog and buy everything. It'll drive great then. However, I would do cooling mods first.

Here is my mod list. The car is corner balanced and weighs 3625lbs.

Thanks for the list!

I'm a 4#lower, 2.9 upper, ID1050x, E85 and a tune away from 700+ (2021) and then a Gen5 3.0 & warren cams in 2023 for 900rwhp. I'll never be done with the car but she'll be one overkill road racing beast. I'm more worried about getting a 315 hoosier R7 square setup than I am with more power though.

I wanted the fuel system to be redundant where the car can run on one pump at my current power. I'll be doing the hobbs switch for the second pump as "insurance" for track days. My kit was originally the 850rwhp kit but one of my pumps went bad so I went ahead and got the 465 pumps installed.

I also updated the mods list... I forgot several items including the 00' R fuel cell

What rivets did you guys use for this? They give us 2 different sizes. One that's 3/8" long and one that's 5/8" long. Says something about "longer rivets were included as some installs may require to go through the upper and lower skins/supports at the same time (depending on slight variations in louver placement and hood construction).

I didn’t use the rivets for the upper Louvers. I called track spec and had them send me the same button head Allen bolts and nylocks nuts. That way the hardware for the lower an upper louvers March. Contact them and they will fix you up.

Called up Trackspec and got those screws. The owner is very cool, very easy to work with. Thanks for the tip on that, gonna install these this weekend! Gonna feel very weird cutting into a perfectly good '03 Cobra hood lol
