The Apache is a great motor, its just too bad dodge didnt have the coint to develop a smaller chassis for it.

nice times, nothing ever messes with me except one.....392 cars always want to race me. have yet to find one that give much of a fight past 80.

just wish they did something different with the ring lands so we could push more the 6psi without needing new pistons. As boost is the cheapest route to power.

I’m trying to say this politely I guess, because I do respect anything fast and guys drag racing, but that seems like a lot of work for mid-low 11s.
It’s asking a car to do something it isn’t really designed to do NA.
Maybe I’m just boost/big power jaded, but stripping down a really nice new sedan for those times has me asking why not just Hellcat?
I’ve taken my car (HC Charger) twice to the track and it was 11.07 in fall (with golf clubs in trunk) and 11.33 in summer heat at Power Tour (trunk loaded with cooler, seats, etc).
I understand it’s hard racing a 4500# sedan.

You are just moving goal posts.

Same can be said for HC guys trying to run 9's and 8's.

At the end of the day it’s my money I wanted something different and set out a goal of running 10s with the car and it will do it when I’m done . Yes I could of bought a mustang A10 but they are a dime a dozen at the track and I’ve only seen two that ran slightly better than me lol . I have multiple friends with s550 cars only one traps higher than me the rest are 115-118 cars so if a 4000 plus pound sedan don’t impress you doing damn near 122 mph idk what will . Be on the lookout next year of this car running bottoms 10s @130 plus all motor Also all the other guys that commented thanks for the support.

I couldn't agree more. I've had well over 11 mustang's. 2 were terminators and various others from push rod 5.0s to ohc 5.0s, and one 2 valve. All mustangs before the latest irs versions have had my attention. However, I just could never get into these s550s. To me, they have drifted away from being a car that fits me. The challenger has always been a cool car and until recently I havent been able to buy one.

Well, finally the end of 2019 they deals on scat packs were just too good to pass up. So I scored a black on black scat pack. I'm in my 40s and over 6 foot tall. I'm tired of having to squeeze myself into a small cramped car. The challenger to me looks far more sinister, has a hell of a torque curve, and has room to sit comfortably. Not to mention the trunk is actually useable.

These cars can be made to go as fast as anything else, but it does cost more to get there. So what! This guy is doing it his way, and hes making it fun. He also has a car he can drive hundreds of miles with family which nobody can say about a mustang.

The looks and waves I get in this car far exceed those of any mustang I've ever had. To me this guy is doing it right, and if anyone throws shade on him, they just dont get why people have different tastes. It's their problem, not his.

Enjoy it man. I enjoy reading your posts.

I like the black engine components. I've never been a huge fan of going with body colored parts when people have a body color like red, green, purple, etc.

Is the valve cover swap simply a color change, or is there another benefit?

Gives me the ability to run the Mighty Mouse catch can like I want . Comes drilled so I can use AN10 fittings on each cover the victor manifold has a bad oil issue . Basically I’m doing a pvc delete
