What is a good price to pay for an authentic set of super snake wheels? Guy says they are brand new with new tires.

Pretty easy $4500 all day long on those.

I was offered $3500 for my Venice wheels with tires and those are only 1 piece forged wheels.

There are two different styles that are "authentic" Super Snake wheels, the Alcoa's that were installed on 2007-2012 Super Snakes and the Modulare 3pc. wheels (H9 style) that you pictured above. The Modulare's became the regular install on all 2007-2014 Super Snakes in 2013 after the Alcoa's were discontinued. Shelby Perf. Parts has sold other "Shelby" labeled/engraved wheels, but most were never a Super Snake installed wheel.

The Alcoa's were Dura Bright finish from 2007-2012 and the Black powdercoat option appeared in 2011.

The Modulare's also came in both the bight finish as you have pictured above and a PC Black which was called Solar Black.

On the Modulare's, make sure you get two rights and two lefts, they are directional in their spoke design.

Great info! Thank you! Would not think of looking at the spokes.

I saw a Super Snake on eBay for sale, it had the right front wheel on the left and the left front wheel on the right, but the rears were correct, so you never know what has happened when buying used.

Also, the earlier design Modulare's had bolts to hold the 3 pieces together as shown below.....

Also notice the valve stem is behind the center so there is nothing on the face/lip of the wheel for a very clean look, but since the stem is behind the center a long TPMS stem could come in contact with the caliper, so the valve stem is a short bolt together stem and the TPMS is attached to the "TPMS holder" which is also in the picture above at the top/rear of the wheel.

Here is a picture of the later stud/nut fasteners that were used on these wheels.......

Two lefts......

and two rights.....

Also, just as an FYI - The rear wheels do not fit the Baer Extreme big brake rear calipers. These wheels were designed for the smaller Wilwood calipers installed on the 2013-up Super Snakes and all 2007-2012 Super Snakes built after 2012.

Here are a few more pics of the wheels. I offered the guy 2900 and he accepted.

Actually on my Signature Edition Super Snake they put the Venice wheels on. There were only 50 Signature Super Snakes built so not a big volume with the Venice wheels but there were a few.

Ok, cool. I know that none of the Super Snake brochures have wheels from 2007-2014 shown other than the Alcoa's and Modulare's. But I know Shelby does a few "different" things from time to time. I believe the 2012 40th Anniv. got the 40th Alcoa's, but I don't know that they were SUPER SNAKE engraved, like all of the other Super Snake specific Alcoa's.

Did those Venice wheels have any "Super Snake" engraving or a unique center cap identifier or both? or just the regular Venice look?

The Venice wheels were supposed to have a unique Signature Edition center cap but in true Shelby form they decided against it and instead put the Shelby Snake as the center cap. The wheels themselves just say Shelby American and Forged. There is not any Super Snake designation. I really like them but I do wish it had something unique to identify them.
