View attachment 1616844 View attachment 1616844 First day of 2020 and I’m already plotting my next move. Lol
Problem is that I’m not sure if I have anything left on the bone without e85 or cams.

Mods:
-18# boost/16* timing
-Full exhaust
-Ported lower manifold
-Ported 2.3 VMP TVS (2.4 upper)
-Whipple 170 mono
-JLT 123
-Cooling and suspension
-F14 drag pack wheels
-1 piece ds
-McCloud RXT/MGW

Also, would there be any benefit besides slightly lower iat’s switching to a gen3r? I would cap the 3R w/ a 2.7 upper given my 93octane and stock motor. Thanks World

There are guys here that can help honestly. You are way above my pay grade. I just purchased the Gen2R so I am anticipating some fun growing pains, but you have a nicely supported set-up now. The Gen3R or going with a bigger KB or Whipple may, in fact be your next big step. Fuel system as you point out, would be a big support from there.

There is a little left in timing. 16* at that boost level is fairly conservative. Lund usually gives 18.5-19*.
Heat is your biggest killer though, so curious how if even a 3/3r will generate much less heat. Its not all blower size, but also mainly the heat the engine bay traps in

If you aren't doing a fuel system, its kind of moot to spend another $4500-6K or whatever the big blowers cost because you wont be running it to any sort of potential anyway because of 93

You could get away with a 10% lower to add a little more boost and a couple degrees of timing.....maybe move up to a 2.5 upper with the 10% lower if it gives you more than 20lbs. of boost....adding timing and a lower are cheap and should really wake up your motor....don't bother with a blower upgrade until you get a new fuel system.

What do you want to do with the car?
Making power is easy to a point, but more power may not help your goals.
What does full exhaust mean?
Lower pulley and 148 JLT could pick up some, but I get nervous on pump 93, I’d recommend octane booster when you want to play.

A retune for boostane is in the mail. The exhaust is a combination of Dynatech 1”7/8 primaries, o/r x-pipe, and Magnaflow mufflers.

Will also pick up a DD149 while I’m at it. The 10% lower will have to wait, eventually the motor will get built and I’ll decide at that point if I plan to keep the ported (gen1)2.3 tvs. I just love how loud it screams
