Yeah, I'm convinced this is no mustang killer, but I'm ok with that. The looks and waves from people are things I never got in any of my Mustangs. Also, the look is just muscle car. It's not trying to compete with the smaller and lighter sports cars. It's brawny and sounds fantastic.

Exactly what the dodge is and always has been.

A heavy, soft, super comfy cruiser with tons of horsepower.

What’s not to like?

Congrats! That is a nice looking/sinister looking Challenger Scat Pack. I like it! I'm sure it's a lot of fun to drive, and you're going to enjoy (hopefully) daily. Again, congratulations!

It had the lighted ducts, but they are closed before the filter housing. They sell a kit which allows a tube to connect them, but I've thought about the water too. If I lived in Vegas i would consider, but south florida weather does not play nice. Lol.

Does it have the functional ram air like the hellcat with the hood and headlight open to the air filter. No way to block off rain water

Mine is a 19. The 2020s dont have the discounts as they are trying to get rid of the 19s before the 2020s hit the lots. Good deals to be had.

Great price, thanks for the heads up. Ill have to look. I remember the 2018s had the SRT. Was yours a 19 or 20?

Looks good.

I really want a T/A Challenger. Simple changes from the "regular" 392 Challenger but love the decals/throwback to the original one

Of all the new muscle cars out the Challenger is my favorite. I would love to own one. Congratulations on the ride!

If I ever get bored with it, I think a roots PD blower atvlow boost would make it more than enough. I'm not sure I will get bored though.

Be careful if you start playing with it. Rods and pistons are made out of balsa wood in the 6.4. Hellcat.org is riddled with guys that grenaded at 6lbs.

I'll take a look for sure, but from what I have read this far, the pistons are the ones to be careful with. The crank and rods can handle low boost. I'm sure I'll do more research if the time comes, and if rods and pistons are both needed, so be it.

Would you do me a favor and send me links to these folks that broke rods at 6lbs? I'm having trouble finding them and I want to educate myself with as much info as possible. I did do a search at hellcat.org as well as google. Didn't have any luck. Thanks in advance.

I think you are right it is more the pistons than the rods. There are a couple of guys that broke rods on challenger talk but not nearly as common as pistons. I would change them out as I would not be limited to 6lbs but that is just me.
