I've seen a few complaints about "death wobble", but never have seen a resolution or an explanation by Michelin, or if they took care of it. I've had a few sets of Michelins on my car without these issues. I'm just curious what could cause it.
I posted something on the Michelin website and they erased it saying it didn't meet posting rules. Suddenly the stellar tire rating made sense.

Change the tires already.

Michelin pilot super sport. Stock size.

Bingo!!! Search "Michelin Death Wobble" and you will find many posts on here and other forums. I had it under full throttle that started around 100 as I recall. It was violent. You couldn't keep your foot in it. Had to lift. Switched to Invo and gone.

I had that same issue with those tires not even at that speed it was pretty much all speeds but pretty bad at 65/75 cruising. Those tires sucked for me switched them and it was like a brand new car

The death wobble is usually something in the front suspension, like worn steering joints or ball joints(both combined) and a small bump sets it off. That’s my knowledge and experience in the truck-off road world. Interesting that there are a few saying tires. Easiest thing would be to borrow or swap out front wheel-tire and try another or several hits to see if it goes away. If it does then there is your issue, but would still check front suspension and steering for unusual wear from that wobble. I have run a few different sets of the pilot sport and cup tires with no issues but that doesn’t mean they don’t have the problem

Turns out it was the rear tires in 40°F weather. It has warmed back up since and hasn't done it again. I wont be getting rid of them yet cause I bought a set of 17x10 for the rear for use with a MT ET R
