I just got banned from mustang6g for calling out idiots that have never driven a track day in their life. Real waxers on that site.
I think the straw that broke the camels back was calling out someone saying the reason they dont want a GT500 was tracking it would be expensive, then talk about a beat up 350z/ae86 would be a good track car.

I said really, you went from looking at 72k+ cars vs a sub 10k shit box? Ah man, that shit is hilarious. Too bad i cant go back to shitting on stupid people on that site.

I'm dying to see an automatic ZR1 go up against the GT500 on the drag strip/roll races.
Should be interesting.

I'd imagine they would run doors. They both hit 170 on the straights at VIR.

Yes but, if I read correctly, the C8 has better exit speed. This would lend credentials to the GT500 taking the W on a highway roll.

only a matter of time before someone makes a c8 TT kit.....then it's game ****ing over for everybody

Granted it's always amazing what the aftermarket industry comes up with but with as tight of an engine bay as the C8 the thermal management is going to be crazy. I think a TT kit is going to be really expensive and not very practical Vs a TVS/KB/Whipple kit. But with all the rumors of a TT Z06 car who knows.
