You mighty not like him or his monotone voice but the kid provides awesome content with great footage to boot...and he’s not a bad driver either. He’s also great example for kids his age.

Great video, the winged white car blew his motor trying to stay ahead. Several times before he pulled over there was smoke coming out the right side exhaust. Putting sticky tires on the car will make a big difference.

Very cool video indeed. Props to that kid for using his car as it's capable of, and also being one of the first, if not the first to post these types of videos of the new 2020 GT500.
FYI- the white FD 3rd Gen RX7 has a Wankel rotary motor that tends to run rich, and any time an owner installs full exhaust, it isn't uncommon for unburned fuel to cause flames from the tailpipe.

^yep. I thought the smoke was from the front brakes locking up(will rewatch to see again), but then I saw the side exhaust flaming and thought it looks like maybe it was unburnt gas blowing up out the exhaust

I agree with the OP. I thought the kid did a great job with the video. Love the views when he was going around the corner and you can see front to back.

I would've liked to see how the front brakes look after a couple sessions.

Stock brake pads I'm guessing??

Any set of brakes on a performance vehicle should be cryogenically treated ASAP! You’ll gain 2 to 3 times the life, they will not warp or crack under extreme use and they will run cooler. On a heavy car like this with expensive components it’s a no brainer.
