GM is taking a loss on the base models.

Not sure how you can make that statement. Much of a vehicle manufacturer's expense is wrapped into development. The question is how long they have to sell the model before they recoup said costs. So, they don't "lose" money unless it is actually priced below cost to put all the parts together and make the car right now. Or, if the life of the model is cut short before the development costs can be recouped.

If the cost is low this year in order to suck in the buyers, that is a business decision to stretch the time necessary to get the development money back.

Looking forward to seeing them at every cars and coffee and cruise event.

But not before the owners scour the internet and the JC Whitney catalog for every stick-on, minor bolt on (think bow-tie exhaust tips), and Punisher wiper fluid cap that they can put on their new C8!

As a denizen of the mid 30's age demographic Im giving New Balance a REAALLL good look. Might be time to retire my DCs to the occasional outing to the dive bar.

Don’t go to the dark side. New Balance are a gateway drug to large gold chains with medallions and exposed chest hair.

I turn 40 next month and I’m hanging on to my old obnoxiously bright Adidas until the soles wear through.
