Anybody else try anything from this new line??? Just got done with the Ceramic Spray Coating on the wifes Legacy and so far so good. Its a wipe on, wipe off type product and as far as application goes Im a fan.

Time will tell how well it does against NE Ohio winters and road salt so we will see. If this goes well I want to try the one you apply as you dry. Longevity is supposed to be up to 12 months, usually wash the cars every 2 weeks with McKees 37 waterless wash. The blue Legacy has the TW Ceramic Spray coating and my silver E55 is using The Last Coat, will compare them in a few months.

I tried the Megs Hybrid Ceramic and just like Wet Coat I never cared for using the hose for application. I tried it watered down, as a drying aid, every way except as directed and it was always streaky. Its my own fault but again I just hated using a hose with Wet Coat so I never tried it.

Let me know what you guys think and plan on trying.

They have been getting some good reviews on the forums, and appear to have stepped up their game quite a bit.

Keep us posted on how you like them as well as the durability!

Heard anything about the Wet Wax??? Thats what I want to use but since its winter I figured whatever was the most durable is what I would try first. I prefer a drying aid type application.

Nice.

That's the brand new line that just came out, correct? I hear good things about this line.
I will be using this line once I run out of my current stuff. Keep us posted on the durability. (I'm kinda skeptical on the durability of the ceramic spray coating/spray waxes, but who knows?? It says "UP to 12 months", so that can be anytime from 1 week to 12 months. lol)

So I was gonna keep my wifes car with the new TW stuff and mine with The Last Coat and Sonax BSD (50/50 diluted) as usual but gave the Ceramic Wet Wax a try on my E55 as I dried today. It is a better drying aid than Opti-Seal and thats saying alot. The 50/50 BSD wasnt that great as a drying aid but its durability was worth the trouble.

I never really got good longevity out of Opti-Seal and finally settled on Sonax BSD after trying several other things as a drying aid/up keep for my base layer. Currently trying a base layer of TLC but usually its Collonite 845, havent found anything better in 13 years but I keep trying.

All in all so far Im very impressed with the new TW stuff, hopefully its durability is as good as its ease of use.

Purely subjective and hard to quantify but while washing my wifes car with the Ceramic Spray Coating the salt and road grime along the side sills and behind all the tires was a one wipe affair. Yesterday while washing my E55 I had to give multiple passes (as many as 4) with the wash mit and McKees no rinse to clean it all off.

Her route to work is all city driving where mine is 70% highway and Ive maintained her paint since 2007 so not a fair comparison in my mind. Also gave her rims a spray with the wet wax while using a wheel brush on them. Will update next wash.

After driving around in rain, sleet and now snow I definitely prefer RainX for the windshield. The water beads are super tiny and dont collect then roll off as nice as the RainX does. They still roll off at speed without the wipers, just not as good.

Looks great. I will give it a try. Turtle Wax Ice sealant is a nice product also.

Well The Last Coat I had on the AMG never seemed to protect as well as Ceramic Spray Coating did on my wifes Legacy when it came time for a rinseless wash so I jumped ship. When washing the Legacy it still had great beading, was easier to wash and cleaner (rain cleaned it much better) than the AMG.

Washed with Mckees 37, clayed it with a Nanoskin fine towel and a coat of Ceramic Spray Coating. Now the only difference between the AMG and the Legacy is the base coat of 845 topped with the TW CSC on the Legacy. Next maintenance wash Im gonna see if anything changes.

Its been a several years since I polished my wifes car and its paint is definitely in better condition than the AMG but the difference is drastic when washing. If nothing changes Im gonna top the AMG with some 845 and try again. I swear 845 must be magical lol.

Have you tried this stuff yet??
Looks pretty simple to use/apply. Gets good reviews online as well. I may try it next summer on the daily driver.

Havent heard of that, I need to clear out my previous experimental products before I try anything else lol. Im still trying to burn through some BSD, a few bottles of Megs hybrid ceramic, 1.5 bottles of TLC and other random products Ive tried.

I purged several years back and kept only Collonite 845 and Optiseal, my buddies put me on suicide watch cuz I was making it rain waxxes and sealants for anyone who wanted them. I basically am just gonna use whatever sprayable stuff I have left on our rims until its all gone. Post up what you think of it when you try.

Tones, I used to use that as a 'topper/maintenance' spray when I used Gtech. Easy to use.
I take it you like it Scott?
Could I use this in place of a wax? Or would be a durable wax be better in your opinion? Would be for my daily driver truck.

I do have some stuff I have to get rid of first before buying any more new products myself.
Always something better coming out. Hard to stay on top of it all. lol
