could you edit your post to say both suspects...killed? The only hostage was the UPS driver...unless I missed something.
That shit was nuts. Yea they were armed and dangerous but there were a **** ton of civilians there, along with a hostage.
The only winner here is the store that was held up.
May get their stuff back.

The movie 'Heat' comes to mind. Jump to 4:25 where the shootout begins. Those innocent bystanders at the UPS shootout experienced pure terror during that shootout. Watching this movie clip reminded me how terrifying a shootout can be.
I thought of Den of Thieves, only thing missing was one of the perps taking out a SAW and lighting the area up.
Jesus you would think they would have at least closed the door or maybe cover the thing before towing it.

The thin blue line is a bunch of horseshit, at this point, if there is not pressure all around, for convictions and murder charges on these police, then it's clear that the police can in the name of "officer safety" sacrifice the lives of civilians whom they are sworn to protect. It's madness, pure madness and utter incompetence.
Unrelated, but Den of Thieves is such a underrated movie.
