Didn't see a thread for this, figured I'd start one up for general discussion, theories, etc...

Who's watching it? Loved the book (graphic novel), enjoyed the movie (even though the end....), watching the series.

It’s got some great acting in it. The lead actress is just great, and Irons is hitting it out of the park as Adrian Veidt. And you can’t go wrong with Lou Gosset Jr.
Story seems good so far. I keep wondering if, and how, they’ll bring Dr. Manhattan back in.

Agree with all the above, great acting, soundtrack and production. Dunno WTF is going on half the time though. Think I'll have to watch it through weekly once then binge at the end to really put it all together.

I was just about to make a thread on this because the gf and I have been watching this entire season which it just got really good the last few episodes and I hadn't seen a thread on it. She knew nothing about the story while I have followed it all pretty closely and am a fan of it. She ended up hooked on it just as much as I am and so I had her watch the movie after the 2nd or 3rd episode because they do a great job of integrating them so you can just watch the movie and then just jump right into the show if you dont know what is going on.

The awesome thing is that they have been writing new content for The Watchmen series called The Doomsday Clock where that series integrates with the greater DCEU so the show has huge potential if they carried it on for a long time.

After watching last week and this week I was completely surprised how Dr. Manhatten was unveiled and the paradoxical situations in tonight's episode were a great touch to really make you wonder what could be happening or what could be going on with the storyline now that he is present.

I think it has been a great replacement of a series since they ended GOT.

This series is only available on HBO? I assume so. It's caught my interest but I don't subscribe to HBO.

Jail broken firestick or torrents man...or the "safer" route you can take is to trade your log in info for streaming services with friends. Someone I may or may not know has hulu, netflix, hbo go, prime, and disney+ and only pays for netflix.

Of course I would never use unlicensed programs to watch unauthorized streams, download tv shows/music/movies for free, or trade log in info for streaming services because that would be unethical, immoral, and illegal.

Any blue swanggin dongs? If so I have no interest.

Briefly in one episode so far. Definitely not like the movie was though. I would give more details on Dr Manhattan but it would spoil 3/4 of the first season.

If you guys dont understand what is going on in the show then watch the movie first because the show actually plays off the movie a lot. That was one thing that surprised me the most. Some of the characters in the show are actually characters from the movie.

I don’t see myself getting HBO anytime soon. Dr. M bothered the hell out of me in the movie. Like bro, put some ****ing shorts on while your friends are around. Then he puts on some speedo for killing the Viet Cong...WTF?! That is the time you rock out with your **** out, especially when its 20ft long.

Lol, they probably would have had him hanging out but they probably threatened with an NC17 rating if they put a 20ft dick in the big screen.

I've always though Dr Manhatten makes the story fascinating though. Without him it would be a pretty boring and generic storyline.

To be honest I can't even remember the ending to the movie. I tried watching it again maybe a year or two ago and pretty much lost interest after Rorschach whoops ass in the prison.

I watch only because of Regina King. I would let her beat my a#$ severely to taste that chocolate, and to reenact that one scene in the closet with me playing the part of Cal.
