well things are falling into place, wifey and I are going to move to AZ! Got my bank lined up and found a realtor to start scoping out homes. I am SO ready to GTFO of CA. my parents are really bummed out but hell they can buy a vacation home lol. I do have some family in AZ so that's a plus. I will be working until Feb and then I'm done. It's off for a new life. I'm gonna miss my friends and family but this is my only chance to leave before my kids start going to school. Anyone else move out of state? Did you regret it? Did it improve your life ?

Moved from Savannah, Ga to Colorado Springs 2 years ago. I love that I wake up every day and the weather is usually nice and not humid. There are no bugs here either. Being outside here is awesome. Only downsides are the altitude kills horsepower, and there are a lot of bums.

Congrats

Moved out of PRK in 93 never looked back. Of course I did have a job lined up. With my toys I would be a felon there now.
damn that was a while ago LOL. I was 7 years old, didn't have a choice haha. But even in the past 10 years Kali was changed A LOT. I used to be able to tolerate most of the bullshit. But I've had enough of it.

IL to FL. I grew up vacationing here. Somewhere, my parents still have a kindergarten project I did of "if you could be anywhere, where would you go" and I drew the beach. As a kid, at one point I got a postcard of the city where we always stayed. During high school, I had that hanging up on my wall to get me through those god awful winters. Now I'm here...and staying.

Rent. The Phoenix housing market is inflated beyond what the numbers are showing and we're on the verge of a correction. Get a much nicer house in a few years

Good luck to you. Hope it all works out. I have friends and family that have property in AZ. They like the winters there but not so much the summers.
