Just thought I would post this over here for discussion.........

https://www.teamshelby.com/topic/98582-2009-don-prudhomme-super-snake-for-sale/

To me, I like the regular production Super Snake look better, but to each his own. I remember when the D.P. cars were first announced, they looked "over the top", especially with the with the drag tire set up.......but I am still not a fan.....although I do remember watching the The Snake and The Mongoose drag race competitions in the late 1960's and early 70's between Don P. and Mark McEwen funny cars.

It would be cool for a collector, personally I think it's ugly as hell. Makes me think of the 2020 GT500 dragon snake they did at sema, and for 175k I'll get a Shelby1000

Super impressive to be able to lift tires with street radials..12" of contact patch haha

...............and no extension of the front suspension and the front tires appearing to have a bulge like they are on the ground........Wait What?????

...............but that S1000 picture does look cool, and I really like the S1000 hood.

Damn, someone would pay $175k for that? Crazy. No wonder dealers do ADMs, prey on the weak ;)

Exactly, I'll never understand the people that pay ADMs on a car that's going to lose value, but as the saying goes, a fool and his money are soon parted.

This one shows up @ my local car show every year, an 07, owner lives in PA.
He used to drive it to the show, now he trailers it.
You have to see one in person, pretty neat.

Can’t see the ad. Guy I know won #2 of the 09 model run. I never got to see it, in person as he sold it, but I saw pictures of it. He said the thing is one wicked car.

Pick your poison.
