so the car's entire floorboard has been sealed from front to trunk. I wanted to do this this way because when removing the sound deadening some gouges and rust were discovered.

Order has been restored. Anybody know where to get a new grommet for the heater/AC lines to the blower box? I can make mine work but it should probably be replaced.

I removed the dash shell because i needed to kill rust on the frame and the shell will be leather wrapped (I hope) at some point so there's no reason for it to be in the car at the moment. I'll need the electrical connections in place to get the car running. I'm thinking of moving all of the door controls to a center console along with doing something different for the headlight switch. this will get me to where I can play with that more easily.

I'll probably use some rubber or something. its a tight fit so it shouldn't need much.

Looks great! Riv nuts are awesome. I replaced a lot of the plastic push pins in my car with riv nuts and bolts.

Dropped the engine off at the machine shop friday. hopefully i get good news and it can come home before the new year.
in other news the BC Racing 99+ cobra coilovers are in and on the car. really, top notch quality.

I really like the camber adjustment.

this is the fitment with 275's on 03 cobra reps in the front. this is what perfect looks like.

this is max low with A. brand new springs B. no drivetrain or interior in the car C. no fluids at all and D. maybe I haven't adjusted the rear shocks correctly. im hopping it settles another half inch or so but I'm totally happy with how it is.

I forget there is actually a car on top of that beautiful chassis you're putting together
LOL. Any big plans for engine? Keeping B heads on it?

stock rebuild with forged guts. I just want the motor back together asap so i can slam it in this thing. from what I've head the stock tuned w/bolt ons power level should be exactly what I'm looking for. no highway roll queen for me. more power ya make the more stuff you break.

please follow up on how your alignment goes. I find without a ton of caster dialed in mustangs handle terrible. your current plates don't seem to have adjustment. might have to figure something out.

the four allen bolts allow for camber adjustment. its standard design on modern coilovers. i've had the MM plates before and I don't see how this gives up anything but it looks better and weighs less.

also when you lower the car it creates a a lot of negative camber by default (which I have to assume is what you mean by "needs lots of camber") and the camber adjustment plates are generally to correct for this.

so, not really sure what the problem is.
