what is your base fuel pressure at? if you need just a bit more you can crank it up a bit

ive always used the bosch 220lb hig impedance injectors with great results.

In fact I run the bosch 220lb injectors on my 02 harley truck. I daily drive it ocassionally on regular pump gas with no problems. She idles perfectly at stoich still using the stock eec-v ecu which has less processing power than the 03/04 cobra ecu.

I am at either 50 or 55 psi base pressure. We discuss giving that a go but where my setup was with the 2.8LC and where my setup should be with the 3.6LC with about 4 more psi on boost, not sure turning up the base pressure would be a better choice than just replacing injectors.

You can get the FIC 1200 under $1000 new and the FID 1300 under $900 new and many tuners like them better.

Any links to those? Those sound like a great deal.

I'm surprised to hear that. Aren't those the CNG based ones? I had seen some complaints about poor longevity and control at short pulsewidth and that had steered me away from them. But if they work for you I wouldn't doubt them. Where did you source them from? They seem pretty tough to get a hold of.

Josh I'm amazed that you have read so many issues with the ID's. They are without question at the top of the injector list and if you ask some quality tuners, they are the only injector they will tune in their customers cars. It's not so much the physical characteristics of the injector but the quality/accuracy of data they provide you with for tuning purposes. Guys like Kevin Hand, Bob Monk etc have posted about this on FB before.

Malcolm had no issues dialing in the ID 1700's on my car (stock ECU).

Joe-

Sorry was not trying to imply any issues with IDs just the fact that a good number of tuners I know in both Ford and Chevy world have gone away from IDs and claim they like the FICs or FIDs better at half the cost. I had issues with IDs years ago but think it was more a Ford computer problem than then injector problem and with me looking hard at the MS3 PNP I am trying to see what else is out there.

I had issues with IDs back in the day haven't had any issues with them lately though.

Its always left a bad impression with me though I'd rather not use IDs if its my choice.

After going around and around on which injectors I want to run and hearing pros and cons of each I think I am going with the Bosch 210lbs that are $52 an injector. I will buy 10 or so and have them flow tested and keep the best 8. $600 worse case. I will use ID2000 data for the injectors as they are the same. Decipha thanks for your input.

yea no prob

keep in mind i have no idea about them injectors specifically for the price it sounda fishy but people claim good things

I have the bosch 220s in my daily driver and another of our shop vehicles and they perform excellent. My price on them is over $1000 though dealer so if you have satisfactory results id be very curious to know

Maybe I am looking at a different injector. I am looking at the 210lbs not 220s. They are $600 with hat through dealers and $400 from factory:

That's a lot of injector.. I run ID1700's and I think I'm making around 950rwhp through an auto and still have plenty of room with them, on E85

That's a huge injector. I'll be curious how easy they are to dial in with the MS3.

I agree they are more than I need at this point, but people with stand alones are running them with much much less power and love them. I would not even think about tempting this with stock ECU. Also I have had 6 sets of injectors over the years. I want these to be the last. Also $500 vs $1500

yes those 210s are the same as 220s thats what I run in my daily driver and have run in several hundred vehicles over the yeara with no problems all using the stock ecu. My price on them is twice whats listed though so im curious how well they work out for you.
