I forgot to refresh before posting, was referring to how godstang put his rig inline. I hope they can figure yours out though

I saw that, I almost went that way but I just put it inline on the return side, mines dead headed. I don’t see any reason to complicate it, thought long and hard, car doesn’t seem to care.

What wideband are you running? I am thinking of getting the dual wideband and E85%/temp gauge.

Right now I am using the gauge/wideband I have had since about 2005. Dynojet wideband commander. I will be upgrading to either dual 14point7 or dual ZT3s after the new year. They both have the latest LSU 4.9 Sensors.

I saw that, I almost went that way but I just put it inline on the return side, mines dead headed. I don’t see any reason to complicate it, thought long and hard, car doesn’t seem to care.

I had thought about putting it on return side but the E85 sensor I am using has fuel temps and Ethanol content. I want to know what the temps are and Ethanol content is going INTO my engine not after the rails/FPR. Content won't change but temps may. Also I am running -10an feed and return so going from -10an to -6an even for a short distance will cause a flow restriction and guess what flow restrictions do? They cause heat! So long story short for me return side was a bad idea.

All good points, your set up is different, I had not thought about the need to measure it coming in due to the MS3. I can certainly see the difference when your car is adjusting the tune based off the ethanol content. I’m 8an hose, So I’m sure it causes a restriction, but with the dead head return style heat wasnt an issue as the fuel doesn’t get returned that goes into the engine bay.

I always enjoy learning around here!

So I was thinking of the Innovate PSB-1 and ECF-1 for gauges.

Thoughts?

Just depends what you want out of it. I bought the sensor and plug for like $50 and did it my self. I am running single analog wideband now looking to go to Twin ZT3 or dual 14point7.

This is a very interesting post as I too am in the market for a stand alone. I was wondering how you guys like the megasquirt set up? Does the self learning system work good? I have heard holley is light years ahead of megasquirt with the self tuning. Id like to heard from everyone using the megasquirt if you guys are having good luck out of it? I wanna make sure when I buy a stand alone that is gonna do a good job for me. I would hate to have 15k in a engine to blow up cus the stand alone sucked.

I wired up a non pnp ms3pro ultimate in my 96 with no prior experience. Once I got everything dialed in and the idle next to perfect I took it for a drive. Self learning worked awesome. Every time I would increase the rpms you could see the changes being made. I have no experience with the holley and I have heard it is a very stout system but I have no regrets going with the ms3

Sounding great so far. Thanks for replying. The megasquirt isn't sounding bad at all at this point.
