well i finally got the cab off and got access to the engine, i think i need a new block, trans seems ok, but has broken the back of the block, lucky the new blocks aren't to much money, this might explain why it won't turn, chassis was to badly twisted to remove in the time i had, so will get it out of the chassis in the spring.

My instincts tells me this is good news for some reason, I hope i'm right. I'll see if I can find anything and if so ill share it with you
I'm starting my Gen 2 f150 build. I have ordered 2016 gt cams and exhaust phasers to convert the firing order. It looks like the intake phasers are all the same in the F150 and Mustang from 2014 on. Did you find this to be true or did you end up changing all 4 phasers. I also have a Gen2 mustang GT harness on the way as well. Anything else you ran into that I might need to know along the way.

Quick question. Your information on the f150 swap has been amazingly helpful but ran into a snag on mine... 2019 f150 gen 3 going into my fox.. bought all the cams and I'm questioning the part numbers I recieved. Jr3z ford oe list 2 different part numbers both fitting the 5.0 jr3z-6250 and than gr3z-6250. Confusing as the gr3z states also fits 5.2. I really wasnt concerned untill I saw the differnt lob profiles which I know the fireing order is different but just want to make sure as the young man at the local dealer had no idea! Really appreciate the help

Absolutely. Much appreciated. It's weird several oem part vendors list it this way. Tasca/pfeifer. Engine section shows gr3z which also fits the 5.2 than valve train subsection shows jR3z. 98% sure it's the JR3Z but a little hesitant during the install and seeing such a different cam profile.

the "J" code is indeed for the Mustang GT. I confirmed this today
