A multi billion dollar global automaker is not going to change the name of a car based on what a bunch of ****ing peasants think.

All I could picture when I saw “peasants” was “Pheasants” and Coach from LetterKenny.

They don't sell the Mustang as a cheap pony car overseas. They start at like 38K pounds (in the UK obviously) for an EB, which their base cars are our premiums I guess. Mustang has more sense of luxury outside of the states than it does here. They are attaching this moniker to this stupid electric Edge to drive people away from the cheap Ford image and to a nicer branding.
Mustang is not luxury. It is power to the people. V8 are not cheap to tax so might as well load them since is not going to be cheap. In Sweden GT 5.0 start at 470K Sek/50K Usd vs. BMW 430i at 442K Sek/47K Usd. Bullitt 542K Sek/58K Usd vs. BMW 440i 530K Sek/56K Usd. BMW M4 at 747K Sek/79K Usd. Every testsnob always mention the lower grade of materials and fit vs. eurocars. But the more enginepower for less money vs eurocars makes up for that. Mustang is american freedom and power for the average Joe. To run a V8 is not cheap at the gaspump. Its almost like a rebellion. Thats the image of Mustang in Europe. Mock-E is none of this. Its a "Mustang" for non Mustangpeople, and it is not even performance. The only electric cars you can destroy in a Mock-E is I3, e-Golf, and Leaf.
