I know why they did it though. They just wanted the hype around the vehicle. All publicity is good publicity for it. If they just called it something mundane it wouldn't have nearly the press. It was actually a smart move for them.

Positive hype is good. Negative, not so much. Social media has taught many companies that lesson. Negative reactions/publicity can hurt a company financially.

fiesta did not sell because of the crap auto tranny. Besides that it got amazing reviews and still sells well in Europe.
