anything LG or Motorola kicks the SHIT outta the gay iGay....
I have a nokia 1520 windows phone as a back up which I love for the size because I have huge hands but for a phone but windows phones are obsolete which sucks because microsoft sucks even though they should have stuck to the mobile app but gave up because they were scared of apple and android.

It has a snap dragon processor plus 3 gigs of ram from back in 2013 and mini smart card storage slot and aux jack. I hate these phones these days.

On top of everything I can do spreadsheets and docs and display everything in a meeting off of it and this tech is off a 6 year old phone.

Also I can RDP into personal and work servers which is insane!

Can we have an industry phone together than a camera and gaming unit?

I got an iPhone from Sam’s with a $400 gift card for financing on AT&T Next. I think they are running something like this for all the vendors though.

I used to rock the HTC Mogul with windows mobile 6.0 and later 6.1. Great phone, and still works. Amazing how far we've come in 12 years though.

Microsoft and Samsung are getting really cozy lately. Sure the phones are expensive, but when It come to remoting into servers and computers it's hard to beat the Note. Can't tell you how many times I've been able to do work that I used to have to pull my laptop out and tether to do that I can do with the note and a stylus using xtralogic remote desktop client. Supports RDP for windows 7/10 and server and VNC for my Aix and linux servers. The stylus makes a huge difference.
I'm sticking to my 512mb 9, only thing on the 10 I like is the fingerprint reader in the face. Otherwise the updates are more incremental, stuff you wouldn't recognize day to day.

You might like the LG stlyo 4. It is not as powerful as the notes but it has a stylus that makes a huge difference for me remoting into gui's, and the price is a quarter of a flagship. It is not as accurate as the notes and lacks some functionality such as the button, but much better than scrolling to move the mouse cursor. You get more mouse like control back. Like drag and drop, and right clicking.

The G8 or V50 will do all of that and do it far better too.

The XR is probably a perfect phone for your situation.

I just picked up the 11 pro max. I don't know why I opted for the most expensive phone but whatever, I guess I wanted something newer.

I gave my dad my old 8+, he was still rocking a very early 6+, he said it's a lot faster/smoother/nicer. I'm sure you'll be very happy with the performance boost of the XR.

Not sure which carrier you have, but AT&T gave my wife and I $300 a piece for our IPhone 6s phones trade in on the Iphone 11. Essentially we picked up one IPhone 11 for free. That was at the end of October, not sure they are still offering it. We only get new phones about every 3-4 years.

Another great option is the OnePlus phones. Decent quality for the money when compared to the rest.

Either the Xr or the A20 If you’re not wanting to spend a lot of cash.

I LOL at people that drop $1k on a damn phone, you can find really nice phones on ebay $100-$300 that are basically new. All you need is 60 GB with SD added and a decent camera. My preference is LG or Motorola. I haven't had an iphone in 10 years.

You can get a lot of mileage out of an iPhone if you take care of it.

I’m still unsure I like both the XR took some getting used to without the button. My grandmas old 5 just crapped out so I took her to VZW and we got her a new 8 because of the button and how she was familiar with it.

I prefer the button. I installed a virtual home button on the 11 Max but it just gets in the way. It will hover over an area that I don't want it to be. It never stays in one spot. I also accidentally set off apps just touching the screen when it is off. Have taken a few screenshots just picking the phone up.

I do like Face ID. It works pretty good and it is refreshing to not have to type codes and passwords to unlock the screen, install applications etc.
