How much cooler does the gen 4 2.9 run over the gen 2 2.9 on the gt500?

the gen4 blower is quite a bit more efficient over the gen3.. prior to it’s release Whipple was seeing an average of about 1 psi in boost increase at the same pulley size just going from gen3 to gen4 units during testing. So that could give you a idea of what it would be going from gen2 to gen4

I run an Innovators West damper with a stock diameter Metco ring.
Very nice! I was trying to retain the stock lower for the support at this time.
I plan on the Gen5 with my new 10:1 Aluminator motor with ported/cammed heads. Plus I just picked up the MS3PRO PnP ecu when they released them to go with it.
I have a good feeling about this combo.

I just ordered one fellas! Been saving for a twin screw for awhile now and this just dropped when I was finally ready. I will be upgrading from a 2.3L Trinity TVS on my car. Can't wait to see how it does

I too have ordered my gen 5 3.0 crusher kit. Going from a gen 1 2.3 whipple making 650/645 on E. Really hope to make these numbers or better on pump gas. Just need to find a used set of Kooks headers now.

3.0 on pump gas? do they even offer pulleys for a pump gas 3.0 setup?

You bet!! I'm currently sitting at 788/722 on E85 and 18psi through the Trinity TVS. I should be able to pulley it for same boost and do a comparison then I'm going to send it with all the boost my fuel system will allow. I'm sure you will be able to find a pulley combo to keep it at pump gas levels. I'm curious to see the IAT differences as well.
