I wonder if I have seen your car at Milan. Been there for the stick shift races a few times.
All stock motors?I know three guys upgrading to this. One gen 3 crusher, one gen 4 crusher, and one VMP 2.65. This should be interesting.
One has ported heads. It's the Cobra in the video that was posted a few days ago.All stock motors?
It will be 50 state carb legal as well
Its a win win for you. It has me thinking big time.Holy SHIT. Both the Cobra and the GT500 kits??
Time to upgrade 2 blowers..l
Looking for a max all out effort for cool boost for road racing. My 2.3 gen2 makes 577/525 on 14psi
Any idea what kind of power would be made on a stock motor at say 15psi? If this blower made 900rwhp on 20psi then surely at 15psi I would be well into the mid 600s with cooler air.
Any idea on this?
I would say 15lbs would be in the low 700s honestly, but we will see once they start hitting the streets.
I wonder how much of their literature is copied and pasted. Somewhere in the paperwork for my 2.9 it says it's pullied for 13psi. I'm pretty sure that's what the base 2.3 does.It says "stock" cobra kit is setup for 13psi. How efficient is this blower. I'd really need to see some torque curves and where the powerband is at. The 2.3 gen 2 is a nice blower for mid 500-700 range. Obviously the 3.0 will be for the big all out guys but it all comes down to efficiency and discharge temps. We all know the whipples don't work well when underspun.
Can't wait to see results.
JUST IN! For the ones not wanting to go with the new GEN5 unit we have some amazing STEALS right now from Whipple! Blow out pricing!
